“I wanted to test for HPV after a local community health volunteer visited me. I believe it is important to do HPV testing and know my status, and I would tell other women to get screened because it was so easy.”

Our Mobile Laboratory is custom-built, solar-powered, and can analyze over 700 samples for HPV in 1 day. HPV is the WHO-gold standard for cervical cancer screening, so having our mobile lab allows us to reach women in the most remote region with the highest quality screening methods. 🧪

Our CureCervicalCancer Kenya Team has been a vital addition to our organization. With 6 team members on the grounds, living in the communities we serve, we are committed to strengthening local leadership for cervical cancer prevention in Kenya. 🇰🇪

By sharing our work with international leaders, we are garnering vital support for delivering life-saving cervical cancer care to women at the last mile.

It’s Vaccination Awareness Month❕💉🩵

This August, we’re celebrating the importance of vaccinations for preventable diseases. Vaccinations are important because they not only protect you, but also keep diseases from spreading throughout your community.

Cervical cancer is almost entirely preventable through routine HPV vaccination, in addition to regular screening and timely treatment. This month (and every month) join us in advocating for increasing access to the HPV vaccine and other preventative measures for cervical cancer. 🗣️
