This year’s theme for National Intern Day is “Interns make for tomorrow’s future leaders.” However, you are arts administrators TODAY. You can lead now, even in your seemingly small spheres of influence. You lead for the greater good, always, and in whatever capacity.
Happy National Intern Day!

Marisa Jacques, MAAA'24, on interning with the Detroit Symphony Orchestra:
“My internship at the DSO has expanded my professional network, taught me how to carry myself professionally in front of donors and high-level employees, and shown me how complex the administrative leg of an orchestra is. My internship put everything I have learned in my first year of my master’s degree into action.”

Dear MAAA Alumni,
As we shared in January, the MAAA program's external curriculum review is underway. We have prepared a short survey about your experience in the program. This survey will take you around 10-15 minutes to complete and your information will remain anonymous. Upon completing the survey, if you wish to leave your name and email address, you will be entered into a raffle for a MAAA t-shirt!
The survey will be open until Friday, February 24.
