Even in 2020, Young Life didn’t stop. We are encouraged and thankful for the leaders in our area who continually find a way to “be” with kids and to point them to Jesus! Here is a story from Capital Young Life leader, Blake Bohning:

"Now more than ever, my heart is broken for students and it motivates me to pursue them more. I am continually challenged in this season to dive deeper into my trust in the Lord, his plans for my life, and the lives of those around me. My team and I have been pushed almost entirely into one-on-one ministry, and we see how THIS is the most impactful aspect of building relationships with kids. In reality, I think God is calling us deeper into the foundation of Young Life ministry, not hindering us from it."

In 2021, we want to continue to equip leaders to reach out, walk alongside, and bring the message of full life to kids all across Boise. The only way we can do that is through generous partners that believe in these leaders, and the mission of Young Life.  In the final days and hours of this year, would you please consider coming alongside our staff and volunteers in our the Boise area?  Our legacy continues because of friends like you!

In this Christmas season, we are encouraged and thankful for the leaders in our area who continually find a way to "be" with kids and to point them to Jesus!

Leader Jenn: “Showing Grace to Grace”
One of our WyldLife girls was quarantined for a month due to her family’s positive tests. Each girl in our group wrote a letter to Grace to remind her that she is loved even if we could only see her on zoom. Their encouraging words brought tears to my eyes and this pile of notes brought a big smile to Grace’s face.
This was God’s reminder to me: WyldLife IS making a difference in these junior high students’ lives. It may look different than the past, but it’s still the same goal: SHOW GOD'S LOVE!
