Hi everyone! As some of you know/may have noticed, I have taken a step back from Sly Sweets over the past few months. After an incredibly busy year, I needed to take some time for myself and my health and figure out my place in the small business world.

I love baking with my whole heart, and everything that I create is filled with love and passion. Unfortunately, the things that I don’t love about owning a business have taken more of a toll on me mentally and physically than I would have imagined. I was trying my best to give my all to my business and my full-time job, but kept feeling burnt out and was struggling. So I had to make some changes.

But this is not goodbye! My website is still live for the entirety of 2024, and I will reassess that at the end of this year. All social media pages will remain active and I will always welcome messages for custom order discussions, including making my original lineup of cookies! I will however still be taking a step back from events, as the hours of prep and baking it takes in my little kitchen is just too much for me right now. You can still find some of my cookies in Braintree, MA too!

I am so grateful for all of my friends, old and new, family, fellow vendors and vegans who have shown me support. I can’t express how much it means to me, and it makes me so happy to know I was able to provide so many people with baked goods they love. I’m so proud of myself for starting a business and sharing my love of animals and baking with so many amazing people. Special shout to , , , .market / , for the extra support and kindness - y’all are truly the best 💖

It took me a while to put this together and make this decision, because I didn’t want to feel like I was giving up. But a reminder to everyone - looking out for yourself is not giving up, nor is trying something and realizing it might not be for you. Love and appreciate you all 💖🍪

Another great day yesterday at The Vegan Market - sold out within the first few hours! Open Space Gift Shop & Creative Studio is a lovely shop in Tewksbury, MA that sells lots of amazing and unique hand made items, and offers creative workshops as well! They truly have something for everyone!
