HOW do all these runners look like they're having fun!? Running hurts! 😩

WHY are they not sucking air and lying on the ground!?

Three things for beginners to keep in mind:

1) Drink 8-10 ounces of water about 30 minutes before you start running. That's enough to keep you hydrated, but not too much.

2) Are your shoes older than 12 months? Have you been walking or running in them consistently for more than 6 months? If yes to either of these, it's time to get new shoes!

3) Warm up by doing something dynamic and active -- jumping jacks, squats, calf raises, skips, and leg swings are great examples.

Most importantly, get out there and enjoy!
