We are beyond thrilled to officially introduce you to our new Head Brewer, Aaron Cerretti! Here is a message from the guy who makes the beer:

“Super excited to finally announce I’ve joined the team at Democracy Brewing as their new Head Brewer! My unexpected sabbatical was much needed, and I’m extremely grateful to be able to see my daughter grow every day since last fall.

It’s been amazing to have the chance to make the beers I want and run things as I see fit. Getting to name beers after my favorite songs/bands/movies is also a nice perk. I’m grateful for the team at Democracy to give me the opportunity and freedom. Pretty cool to be participating at a worker-owned brewery to boot.

I’ve been plugging away the last few months locking in the brewhouse/cellar, and I’m really happy with the results so far. Please come by and try some of my beers with our brand new menu! I’ll happily share a beer with ya!” - Aaron 🍺

Emiliano Zapata was a leading figure in the Mexican Revolution. He remains a national hero and a champion of the rights of rural and indigenous peoples. (And he had a fabulous mustache!)

The Downtown Boston Block Party is coming to Temple Place on June 3 and 4! Hosted by the party will close the street to traffic entirely, allowing the public to enjoy live music, games, and the open air! Come visit Saturday from 12-8 pm and Sunday 12-6 pm. 🎉

perform traditional 1920-1940s era Jazz and swing music. Known as the "Pocket Jazz Band," they have become a beloved institution over the years, performing concerts, swing dances, parties and celebrations all over New England.

Sam Dechenne leads the band on trumpet and vocals and is joined by Nat Seelen on clarinet, Jack Soref on banjo and Josiah Reibstein on tuba.
