Boston University Cycling
BU Cycling is open to both the undergraduate and graduate student communities of Boston University, and is open to all skill levels.
We are a group of dedicated riders interested in reaching our own competitive goals, making a presence in the cycling community, and expanding that community to the students of Boston University.
🚴♂️ Today is Giving Day 2024! 🚴♀️
Join us in supporting BU Cycling as we strive to reach our goals for this year and secure bonus funds for our team!

Join us for a pizza fundraiser at OTTO Pizza on Wednesday, March 20th at 6pm! This will be a great opportunity for us to get together, talk about the upcoming season, support our team, and enjoy some good pizza! 🍕
*Can’t make it in person? No worries! You can still participate by ordering delivery online and using promo code “BUCYCLING” from 5-9pm!
Important: To make your purchase count towards the fundraiser, be sure to enter promo code BUCYCLING or mention BU Cycling at the point of sale between 5-9 pm on March 20th.
Our new cycling kits are on the way! This year, we’ve had the honor of having the kits designed by Blake Goodwin , an alum of our club. Despite the limitations set by school policy, Blake has created something truly special, featuring the iconic white and red BU themes. We can’t wait to see them in person!
Due to the long lead times associated with our usual vendor, Craft, we’ve had to make a switch this year. Thankfully, with the help of alumni connections from Robin Li and Sara Lim , we’ve partnered with Santic to manufacture our jerseys. Santic has agreed to prioritize our order, ensuring delivery by late March to early April. A huge thank you to Robin and Sara for making this possible!
Please submit the order form by tonight, March 1st, since we have very limited time in manufacturing!
The order form is in profile!
Stay tuned for more updates, and prepare to ride in style with our new kits!
Come join us on Wednesday Nov 8 6 pm for a training 101 session led by coach Adam Luban! It will be hosted at BU Cycle Kitchen (1019 Comm Ave). Registration link here, and also in bio and story: https://forms.gle/2GGH2aAu4mTsfYrK8
—— Of Course, BUCC Race in all different Categories! 🏎️
Dear BUCC Alum,
Hope all is well!
It is that time of the year again—the time of the year being Terrier Together!
We are writing to tell you about what we’ve been up to as a club, and what we are planning to do in the near future.
This semester, alongside our traditional team rides, we also facilitated the participation in the Tour Opacum—a ride around Studbridge, MA, that helps raise fund for a foundation for land conservation. For our team rides, we revisited some favorites from the previous years—the Green Line Velo route, as well as Concord. As the fall sets in, we will continue to bring the beauty of New England autumn to every cyclist who rides with us.
Your support will not only help us support our existing members; it will allow us to expand access to cycling as well. Every year at Splash, we are approached by a fair few people who would like to “try out” before committing to getting a bike and joining the sport. With your support, we will be able to build a more extensive system to enable more try-outs that would, hopefully, become the new blood of the club.
Lastly, for every unique alum donation, BU will provide an extra $25 for our club. All this will go a long way toward our goal as a club.
Thank you for reading! We always love to hear what alums have been up to since graduating, so feel free to write us ([email protected]) or tag us ( on Instagram). We wish you all happy riding, wherever you are!

A chance to support the future of BU Cycling!
The deets: the Department for Alumni Relations has launched a fundraising campaign to benefit Club Sports. For maximum impact, each alumni donation will generate $25.00 in bonus funds to the club!
To donate, simply go to the link in our bio! The campaign runs from Tuesday to Thursday this week, 10/18-10/20.
Past donations have helped us purchase two team bikes to make group rides and races more accessible to our athletes. Other things we could use donations to fund include: spare equipment such as lights, tubes, and chains; props for future workshops; and travel accommodations for our races in the spring.
We are so grateful to everyone who has supported the team thus far, and new donations of any amount would go a long way. Thank you to everyone who considers donating this week!
