Public Comment Survey 08/25/2023

The Massachusetts Board of Elementary and Secondary Education (BESE) has voted unanimously to solicit public comment on the new draft comprehensive health and physical education curriculum framework. The public has until August 28th to make recommendations for improvement to the proposed framework and urge BESE to approve the Framework.

The only reference to menstruation in the current draft frameworks is in the plan for grades 6-8 in a sentence about personal health products, this is not enough. Please help our friends at Mass NOW ensure that menstruation receives adequate attention and inclusion in the curriculum frameworks.
