Through long term group relationships, members explore their unconscious, habitual patterns that interfere with their ability to connect well with others and practice new, more constructive ways of relating. Clients experience significant and meaningful changes in their lives outside of group through the shifts that occur in the groups.

In this online training course, you will be introduced to the basic concepts and techniques utilized in Modern Psychoanalysis. This is a treatment modality that was created by Hyman Spotnitz in the 1940’s. He, along with other clinicians, introduced the use of emotional communication and limbic based interventions into psychoanalytic treatment. This treatment approach incorporates the use of vocal tone, emotional induction, and attuned transferential communications to deepen the work with clients and promote the possibility for something progressive and new to occur.

Group Therapy: Understanding yourself through Relationship
Dr. Olson and Dr. Kaklauskas facilitate the psychotherapy groups. These groups offer clients the opportunity to develop more effective communication strategies and a deeper understanding of oneself in relationship to others.
Through long term group relationships, members explore their unconscious, habitual patterns that interfere with their ability to connect well with others and practice new, more constructive ways of relating. Clients experience significant and meaningful changes in their lives outside of group through the shifts that occur in the group.
These groups are an excellent way to participate in affordable, long term treatment that can sometimes be even more effective and powerful than individual treatment.
