This sweet one had a “frozen wing”? The owner said it was very stiff and not moving much.

I currently have a patient waiting to see if her FET ( frozen embryo transfer ) was successful. This comes after an early loss of her last transfer. She has chosen the path of Chinese herbal medicine and acupuncture to support her journey

Yet another patient who was told by her OB that painful periods are normal ( THEY ARE NOT) and that she should go on birth control as that will help………all while she’s trying to conceive her 2nd baby.🤦🏻‍♀️
In my opinion OB dismissed her complaints of severe pain. My patient advocated for herself and had exploratory surgery.
Stage 3 endometriosis. 100% the cause of her pain.
There are other options.

I read such a cool post by one such person this morning. Dave shared about the saying “ Share the Stoke” taken from the surfing world. About that feeling you get from catching the best most perfect wave…
Only Dave knows how grateful I am that driving over this bridge is a Stoke for me…I finally don’t have any physiological reactions/panic/anxiety etc. driving myself over and back.
He reminded me quite a few years ago that there’s an entire world on the other side of that bridge. And he was right, no matter how long it took me to truly get stoked about it.💜

Saw a patient today who is going into her 2nd frozen embryo transfer tomorrow. Humbled she chose me to be on this journey with her.
Women who add more acupuncture sessions during IVF are twice as likely to have a baby compared to women who do IVF alone, and 60% more likely when compared with women who just have acupuncture treatment on the day of embryo transfer.

Time is going so fast.
She is growing way too fast.
I’m so grateful to have time to just hang out and play with her. Yesterday we walked with George to the local farmers market and had a blast.

Did you know that approximately 1 in 10 people with a uterus are diagnosed with endometriosis yearly, and nearly half of those experience infertility. In addition, endometriosis is considered the primary cause of chronic pelvic pain in people who menstruate and are of childbearing age. Between 1% and 7% are asymptomatic but up to 70% of women experience chronic pain and are told
“ it’s normal”.

This mama is 42 struggling with secondary infertility.
