If you want to know how to dance the International Samba correctly, this class is a must. We will focus on foot timing, bounce action and pelvic tilt. We are going to break down how we dance the beat value 3/4, 1/4, 1 in foot timing and how to use our feet, ankle, knees and pelvis at the same time to do the correct actions. Q Ballroom loves a little competition, and we’d love for you to cheer us on! We recently found out we are on the leaderboard in a major way: 2nd place in Top Teacher, 3rd place in Top Studio, and 5th, 12th, 14th, and 16th place in Top Student!
About the Triple Crown Dance Series: It was the “first Dancesport Circuit in the entire world. It was founded by Larry and Dianne Dean in 1972. The concept at the time was groundbreaking. Accumulating points at multiple competitions towards a larger, year-end prize had never been done before.”
The next competition is Boca at The Westin Fort Lauderdale Beach Resort. Thanks Mark Nocera for leading this initiative!

On April 20, Q Ballroom teachers and students attended the Patriot Dance Festival gala dinner! It was a great time with a live band and friendly people. Congratulations Randy and Kathy on organizing another fun comp, and Andrew on teaching excellent workshops. We are proud of our students from our programs such as Social Ballroom who get to attend and practice their dance skills in a welcoming environment.

This Saturday! Learn Salsa in one condensed bootcamp and start dancing at the Salsa clubs right away. This three hour intensive class will lay out basics and allow you to be comfortable with the most popular steps used in today's Latin night clubs. No partner necessary as we rotate partners frequently.

We have great time dancing Eastern United States DanceSport Championship past weekend. Big Congratulation to Mark Nocera and Max Greenhouse for amazing event. My team have a lot of fun and good dancing. Again big congratulations to the students and orgonizers.

This EUSDC was particularly special for our studio with multiple new students debuting! Our veterans continued strong performances and cheered on our studio family throughout the weekend. Congratulations again to Monir for her debut latin showdance entry and to Irene for her bronze latin category debut!
