During the first half of 2024, we have distributed 20% more personal care items compared to the first half of 2023. The most requested item is underwear - 4,409 pairs were distributed this year. 🩲🧦🪒🧴🧼

Every Monday, our personal care team works hard to provide our guests with hygiene items they may need, such as underwear, soap, toothbrushes, and other items! Due to increasing cost and demand, we have given out 15.5% more bags in the first half of 2024 than we did in the first half of 2023.

Today during our meal service each guest enjoyed a delicious hoagie thanks to Wawa and Philabundance! We received over 2,500 hoagies that will be distributed throughout the week. Thank you for helping us feed the community!
Thanks to the Financial Wellness Institute for their longtime support in coordinating the financial literacy training for our culinary students. This week the students learned the basics of banking from CK Board Member, Lisa Folks of PNC.
Thank you to the for their generous donation of 1,236 boxes of Girl Scout Cookies! The cookies were offered at our MarketStand today where we provide free groceries for individuals and families, and they will be distributed throughout the week as a special treat at our meal service where we serve as many as 700 people daily. We are so grateful to the Girl Scouts for their support and service to the South Jersey community!

On Friday we held our first summer barbecue of the season!
CK's team and culinary students served a delicious meal of grilled chicken and turkey sausage, pasta salad, corn on the cob, and freshly made smoothies. Guests had the option of eating in our dining room or taking their food to-go. It was a great success, and we're looking forward to the next one!

Haddonfield businesses will compete, serving up soup samples for guests to vote on! Set the bar high and decide who will be the Champions! 100% of the proceeds go to Cathedral Kitchen support of their efforts to provide 2,000 hot, nutritious meals each day to adults, senior citizens, and children in the Camden community. 🥫
