OPEN HOUSE 10:00AM to 8:00PM. Visit any time. Join one, two, or all three specific activities during the OPEN HOUSE:
10:00 to noon: SERVICE painting and landscaping at Holy Name School, located behind the volunteer house.
12:00 LUNCH donated and prepared by the culinary team, Liz and Henry Bowers.
4:00 MASS in gratitude for all who have been a part of DeSales.
5:30 DINNER pulled pork, chicken, and all the fixings, again donated and prepared by supporters, Henry and Liz Bowers (come hungry!)
The OPEN HOUSE Day
You are invited to visit and participate in all or any part of the day. The schedule below gives the outline of the day. RSVP is helpful for the meals—but all are welcome. All during the day people will share about their experiences serving in Camden and Kensington—telling the Story of DeSales Service Works and of our service partners.
Donations Accepted
One purpose of the OPEN HOUSE is to raise funds that will help make the good work of DSW possible. So donations are very welcome. We hope to raise 10,000.00 toward the year’s budget. (2000.00 already donated in honor of Anna and Fred Schaper.)
