Dr. Parker’s Diva Girls’ Leadership Group did a penny war to raise money to give get-well fun baskets to children in local hospitals and Ronald McDonald house. They were so proud to make 40 baskets!! Great job!

Fifth grade teachers, Mr. Wilson, Ms. Snow, Dr. Parker and Mr. Shanks, had their students participate in a spelling bee. There was some great competition! Congratulations to the winners!

North Canton church of Christ has their big giveaway may 10th and 11th for anyone in need of clothing, kids clothing, kids toys, cribs/swings/ bouncers, shoes, household items, food

They allow you to fill 4 13 gallon trash bags or 2 30 gallon trash bags full, and one bigger item off the big stage. Definitely worth going to!
Registration is open for now but fills fast.
It's a huge giveaway and they have plenty of stuff to go around for people in need.

Mrs. Hargrave's 6th grade music class was able to enjoy trying out orchestral instruments from the Instrument Petting Zoo. Special thanks to Ms. Pratt-Fontez for coming in to speak to the kids about their musical ensemble choices as they head into middle school next year!
Outside learning day at Youtz included our 5th Grade Choir! We are learning the ukulele so that we can sing, "Count on Me" by Bruno Mars.
