The Philippine Consulate General in San Francisco, represented by Consul Vanessa Bago-Llona and Tourism Director Soleil Tropicales, attended the media launch of Dynamico Media in collaboration with Mayad USA.

The Consulate has a public-private partnership with Dynamico Space in supporting the growth of the Philippine startup ecosystem and fostering linkages with Silicon Valley.

A collection of songs and stories rooted in the Philippines' intertwined history with the USA, it celebrates the Golden Age of American Song, a time when the greatest Filipino composers crafted their treasured melodies. Indulge in a free community festival featuring Chicagoland’s finest Filipino-owned culinary delights, artisanal crafts, and cultural performances.

Among his other notable roles were as Planning Director and Deputy Attorney for Kauai County, legal counsel at the Kauai Filipino Chamber of Commerce, Kauai Philippine Cultural Center and Honolulu Filipino Junior Chamber of Commerce, Vice Chair of the National Federation of Filipino American Associations, Board Member of the Sariling Gawa Youth Council, and Member of the University of Hawaii Board of Regents. : Asian Americans x Racial Discrimination Study

Dr. Lisa Suzuki at NYU and team are examining the emotional impact of racial encounters and how Asian Americans are affected by racial discrimination in terms of psychological and/or emotional reactions. The research is approved by an Institutional Review Board (IRB) and funded by NYU.

Individuals will be asked to complete a short demographic survey and a series of scales focusing on encounters of racial discrimination, perceived stress, racial identity, and mental health status. Participation in the study is voluntary and there will be no consequences should an individual choose not to participate or withdraw from the study.
