How did you first become interested in acting?

I have always been curious about acting ever since I took a drama class during my first year in high school! Once I made it to college, I decided to start exploring it a bit more by taking more theatre classes and auditioning for Theatre productions. Enjoying and learning about the potential characters I can play and figuring out how to tell their story without being myself at the same time is a fun creative process for me!

What is the hardest thing about acting?

The hardest thing I found about acting is trying to make sure that your own personality doesn’t show up in the character I am trying to play. Especially if the character is someone who has a completely different personality to mine. Although I always try to make sure that my traits do not show in my character, there are moments where I sometimes let a few of them out into the character. On the flipside, sometimes it does help give me a direction of how the character I am playing would interact with someone with my personality or what they would not be doing if they were an actual person in real life.

What would like to accomplish professionally?

Professionally, I would like to be part of a Musical Theatre production one day! I knew this is something I definitely wanted to achieve ever since I participated in a small musical number my freshman year of college. My ultimate goal is to be a part of the Hamilton, Wicked or Waitress musical productions! Another professional achievement I would like to complete will be participating in a crime drama like the NCIS series! Of course to accomplish these goals, I am always aiming to improve my performing arts skills as I finish my studies and continue my training outside of school!
