Join us this Summer from July 8th – August 18th in our Latina/o Perspectives on U.S. Immigration and Citizenship course taught by Professor Rony Castellanos Raymundo.

Come and understand some of the issues which concern Mexican/Latino immigrant people, specifically Mexican and Central American groups, in efforts to bring awareness to this human crisis and to explore some of its effects on U.S. Latino community.

This Summer course from May 30-July 7th will explore contemporary cultural and historical narrative written by and about Chicana/Latina and Indigenous women in the Americas. This class will focus on the genre of memoir to analyze the histories of colonial exploration, cultural memory, gender and sexual oppression and so much more.
