Good afternoon Toros! May is Asian/Pacific American Heritage Month! To celebrate, our Central Kitchen Supervisor, Joseph Cariaga, is at the forefront preparing Asian cuisines throughout this week at Cafe Toro.
Today we’re serving up short ribs with steamed white rice and macaroni salad. Fuel up for finals and see you there! Good luck Toros!

We’re ecstatic to announce that Cafe Toro (previously 1910 Cafe & Lounge) will be open and ready for service starting Saturday, February 12th.
Our chefs and kitchen staff will be preparing soups, chili, salads, breakfast specials, vegetarian and vegan options, and live action stations with cooked to order entrees.

CSUDH Foundation collaborates with departments within the university to facilitate filming requests. Our most recent collaboration with the University Theatre was truly an experience and we like to thank everyone involved for their contributions for a successful production.

Good morning Toros. The County Health Officer for the Los Angeles Department of Public Health strongly recommends that operators reserve and prioritize indoor seating and services for patrons who are fully vaccinated against Covid-19.
Starting Monday, November 8th, 2021, Campus Dining will verify the full vaccination status of all patrons dining at the sports lounge. If patrons cannot show proof of full vaccination, a negative Covid-19 test result within 72 hours will be requested instead. Dining employees will cross check proof of vaccination or negative COVID test results against a photo I.D. Upon entering the lounge.
DH Sports ordering for takeout is encouraged and outdoor seating in the Palm Courtyard is strongly recommended.
Mobile and online ordering can be placed via the ChowNow app.
During this transition, we will be surveying operations to see what can be improved in all aspects of customer service and procedures. If you have any questions, comments, feedbacks, or suggestions, please let us know!

Dr. Parham and CSUDH Esports President, Alexandra Warren-Carrasco, will be speaking at the Sculpture Garden at 11:00am, and the reception will be held at the DH Sports Lounge at 11:30am. Our chefs will be preparing a delicious selection that will include: Mini cream cheese pizzas with tomato and basil, mini vegetarian egg rolls with Thai sweet chili sauce, teriyaki beef skewers, and vegan sweet potato taquitos (as seen in the image above).
