We are going to Centrikid!

Registration is now started for Centrikid Camp for Summer 2024. This year we will be going to camp June 29th-July 3rd at Eagle Eyrie Conference Center in Lynchburg, Va. Centrikid is an overnight Camp for kids 3rd-6th grade and is a great oppurtunity for kids to have fun and grow in their faith.

Advent is the season that leads up to Christmas. It is a time to look forward to our celebration of the coming Messiah. This year, Advent begins on December 3rd, and we have put together Family Devotion Guides to help point your family to Christ this Advent season. Copies of the book will be available in the church lobby this Sunday, or you can go to our church website and download a copy today.

We hope that your kids can join us for our Crazy Sock night at Awana this Wednesday, September 27th. We want your kids to wear their wildest, wackiest socks and let's make this a night to remember! We will start off the night with a Crazy Sock Showcase where the kids can show off their crazy style and win fun prizes.

We had a great first night of Awana last week, and we hope that many of you can join us another exciting night of Awana! As we settle in to a new year, we are going to be changing where some of our clubbers get picked up from each week. Make sure to check so you know where to pick up your child.

This Sunday is Pop Up Sunday!

We hope that your child can join us as many of our students will be popping up into new classes this Sunday! As we start the new church year, children will be moving up into their new classes starting this Sunday. We will have special "Pop Up" snacks with the kids as we celebrate the start of a new church year!

Due to inclement weather we will be moving our slide night inside. We will start at 6:30 tonight in the FLC. WE hope all of our 3 year old- 5th graders can join us as we Jump and Slide Inside!

We are still planning to have an awesome night with the kids on Wednesday August 30th. We are monitoring the weather and if it looks like bad weather then we will move our event, including the inflatables, inside to the FLC. Sadly that will mean no water but we will still have a night of fun enjoying the inflatables! We will make sure to keep you all updated when we make a final decision. We hope you all will be able to join us Wednesday Night!

We hope your kids can join us this Wednesday, August 30 from 6:30-8:00 as we close out summer with a fun Water Slide Night. This event is for children 3 years old through the 5th grade. Make sure that your child is wearing an appropriate bathing suite and water shoes as we slide into the new school year!

We're thrilled to invite you to register your kids, aged 2 years old through 5th grade, for the upcoming Awana program at Good Hope Baptist Church! Awana will kick-off on September 6th and will meet on Wednesday nights from 6:40 PM - 8:00 PM all the way until the end of May. To register your child, go to www.goodhopechurch.org/awana .
Awana is a children's program that seeks to reach kids for Christ through fun, Scripture-rich experiences that lead them to know, love, and serve Him. Awana uses Scripture memory and Biblical familiarity to make an impact in the lives of children and their families.

We had a great time today at VBS and are looking forward to another great day of VBS tomorrow!

What a joy 🥹 to see these kids worship Jesus. Thanks 🙏 Melanie Johnson and Megan Elizabeth for serving the Lord and the kids’ ministry in this way each week.

Just a glimpse of what hearts 💕 of service to the Lord and others look like. Our chairman of elders and safety man for awana holding and loving on a baby so his mommy can love on toddlers who are learning about Jesus. This sweet lady who brings her grandson to church so her daughter can fellowship and do bible study with young adults and serving our preschoolers (and filling in for me when I spaced out on the puppet show) so they can learn about Jesus and their parents can go to bible study. This other sweet lady who leads music, plays, and puppet shows every week so kids can learn about Jesus while their parents have bible study. Thankful and blessed to serve with them. Love you all.

Our last night of Summer in the Son. We learned about Judges. What a cool craft from Ms Carla to help us remember the Judges of Israel. What a joy to see our youth serving our Littles. Join us next week for AWANA KICKOFF NIGHT!!!
