Pictured is Les Soden, prison ministry director for Point Church , one of our Carolina Care Center partner churches. Yes, each of those bags contains a dozen homemade cookies. As part of last week's retreat experience at Central Prison, each retreat volunteer provided at least 40 dozen cookies so that each prison resident could have a dozen - well over 1100 dozen cookies were delivered!

The cookies were just a small part of the wonderful 4 days of life-transforming ministry inside those prison walls.

What a beautiful Sunday at Point this weekend! We introduced our newest staff member, Devin — our Next Gen and College Director! We also got to commission and prayed over our summer intern, Abby, as she heads into her next season in Nashville! God has such great things in store and we can’t wait to see you next week as we continue in our Revelation series!

The new school year is right around the corner and we can’t wait to celebrate with you!! Our annual Back to School Bash is Sunday, August 11th from 4:30-6:30. We’ll have food, water games, inflatables, and so much fun! All kids, students, and their families are welcome.

Women!! Mark your calendars for our Women’s Worship and Prayer Night on August 9th! All ages are welcome and childcare will be provided. We can’t wait to see you there!

Our team had a blast this week serving in Costa Rica! They were able to help build kids’ classrooms in the church, serve at VBS, and deliver food to people in the city! Not to mention, 18 people were baptized and they were able to be part of a special wedding celebration! Please pray for our team’s safety as they travel back tomorrow!!

We had a BEAUTIFUL morning celebrating all God is doing through our Family Ministry here at Point Church! We commissioned and prayed over our graduating seniors and even had the chance to baptize one of our kids in KidPoint!
