Si tu deseas seguir a Jesús debes poner en acción los siguientes pasos: Negarte a ti mismo, tomar tu cruz y entonces y sólo entonces, podrás seguirle.

If you want to follow Jesus you must put the following steps into action: Deny yourself, take up your cross and then and only then, can you follow Him.

You know my thoughts even when I’m far away.

Never underestimate the power of prayer. No matter how big or small, God wants to listen.

Mientras más obedeces a Dios, más te acercas a ÉL. Mientras menos le obedeces más te alejas de Él.

The more you obey God, the closer you come to HIM. The less you obey Him, the further you distance yourself from Him.

Dios quiere que tomemos decisiones en obediencia a Él porque mientras más le obedecemos estamos más cerca de El. Si menos le obedecemos nos alejamos de El | PREDECIDIR la obediencia a Dios.

God wants us to make decisions in obedience to Him because the more we obey Him we are closer to Him. The less we obey Him we move away from Him | PREDECIDE obedience to God.

So, while we may not fully understand everything in this life, we can pre-decide to always seek TRUTH.

And pre-decisions are the kind of decisions that help us navigate the kind of world, full of confusion and falsehoods, full of ulterior motives and deceit all around us, 24/7, because when we find ourselves in the position of discerning TRUTH, pre-deciding to seek and follow truth with a CAPITAL T is what will protect us from the captivity of falsehood.

Entonces, aunque no entendamos completamente todo en esta vida, podemos decidir de antemano buscar siempre la VERDAD.

Y las decisiones previas son el tipo de decisiones que nos ayudan a navegar en el tipo de mundo, lleno de confusión y falsedades, lleno de motivos ocultos y engaños que nos rodea, 24 horas al día, 7 días a la semana, porque cuando nos encontramos en la posición de discernir la VERDAD, Predecidir buscar y seguir la verdad con V MAYÚSCULA es lo que nos protegerá del cautiverio de la falsedad.

When you're facing something you don't understand, it's easy to let doubt and worry creep in. How can you trust God when things get tough? We’re talking about it this week at church.

David says, "This is the word of God." What does the word of God do for you? The Word of God will do everything you need. The Word of God will give you everything you need to receive. When you are sad or hurt, God's Word encourages you and strengthens your faith. If you are confused, the Word of God is a lamp to your feet, a light to your path.

Nuestras decisiones determinan la dirección de nuestras vidas. Pero cuando estamos cansados, estresados o abrumados, ¿cómo son realmente esas decisiones? Aprendamos a pensar en el futuro para seguir los propósitos de Dios pase lo que pase.

Our decisions determine the direction of our lives. But when we're tired, stressed, or overwhelmed, what do those decisions really look like? Let's learn to Think Ahead so we follow God’s purposes no matter what.

Aquí vemos una vez más, Jesús habla del reino de Dios como el lugar a donde te lleva la santidad… la bondad… el camino de la formación, o el discipulado…

Así que el camino angosto de Jesús es SANTO: es el camino hacia la bondad poco común de Dios.

Here we see once again, Jesus speaks of the Kingdom of God as the place where holiness... goodness... the path of formation, or discipleship...

So it the narrow way of Jesus is HOLY: is the path to the uncommon goodness of God.

Cuando escucho la palabra “descansó” pienso en dormir. O tal vez un tiempo libre, o un día entero libre, unas horas de tranquilidad o simplemente un tiempo para relajarse.

Pero la idea detrás de la palabra original aquí: [בתַ שָׁ o shabbat en hebreo es mucho más: es un descanso HOLÍSTICO, o lo que Jesús llama “descanso para el alma”, es decir, para toda nuestra persona, entera.
