I am not a slave to my work. I am not a Robot. However lately I’ve been feeling down, stressed & to be completely honest with you.. Depressed.

I’ve always been a motivated person who strives to better himself and the people around him. I’ll never be outworked and I’ll run you into the ground.

This year has been one of the BEST years T.D that I’ve had and we’re only continuing to grow.
•
But for the first 4 months of the year I worked 7 days a week. Straight. With No break in between. Hell I even worked on birthday.
•
It all came to a sudden halt this week. I got up on Tuesday morning dragged myself out of bed and got ready to go. I got in the car and drove to my office and sat in the parking lot for 30 mins TRYING to convince myself to go in.
•
Exactly 35 mins later I ended up in between two canyons sitting in a river and in my jeans while blasting music.
•
I HIT BURN OUT & I checked out.
•
You see on Social media it’s not okay to share this. We’re all supposed to be plugging away being “BUSY” “Look how busy I am” “Look at this, look at that” “Look at this 24 hour day I had.” “Look at these 365 days that I worked.” It’s all BS. It’s all noise.
•
I’m here to shine a light on this subject.
•
You’re not busy, you’re just unorganized. Social Media has taught us the illusion to believe that the busier you are the more successful you’ll be or look. Most of the successful people I’ve met care about being effective with the time they have, it’s not about how many hours you put in; it’s about what you do with those hours that you have that matter.
•
I’m addicted to this game called Real Estate. I get to do what I love every single day. It’s changed my life in many ways and has provided me with so many great opportunities. I’ve met so many intelligent, successful, hardworking and wonderful people in this business and I wouldn’t change any of it.
•
But If you’re kicking all this ass make sure you enjoy the ride because its what you’re going to remember when you “get there” where ever that place is for you.
•
Mental health is a real.
