So sad that I won’t be able to help - I will be in FL for my nephew’s wedding this weekend - but I hope we have a great turnout in Kanawha City!!! Please come out and help cleanup up our beautiful village! I’m sure it’s especially needed after yesterday’s storms!!! Thanks for helping!!
Hello Parents!
We are one day away from our Easter Mega Event! Attached is a field map for the event. We still suggest buying tickets online so you don’t have to stand in the long lines. Below is a list to help you navigate the event so everyone has a good time.
Entry fee is $10 for everyone unless you are under 2 years old, this includes parents.
No outside food or drink is allowed at Laidley. Laidley will have their hot food concession stand open and we will be selling treats for the kids.
All rides are free once you enter. There are vendors selling candy and food so be sure to bring some cash for those items. Petting zoo is free unless you want to buy feed for $3.00 for small or $4.00 for large or you want to do the gem mine.
We have a Under 6 area on the map for tots.
Most of the inflatables are good for grade school children. Middle School and High School children should move towards the obstacle courses, slides and mechanical rides. Lets keep the grade school kids on the inflatables bounce houses so everyone stays safe.
We will have foam! Might be a good idea to bring a change of clothes and a towel.
Weight limit on the inflatables and rides is 200 lbs. Sorry but this is s strict weight limit for all inflatables.
Pick up for the train will be in the back right corner of the stadium to the right of the score board. The train will take you on a ride around the track.
We will have a refreshment tent for adults located on the football field. We have selected a nice list of craft beers and seltzers.
There will be games on the field like corn hole and overside candy land.
Would be a good idea to bring a stroller for the little ones… we have rides spread out over the entire complex.
No shoes when jumping on the inflatables. Would be a good idea to wear slip on shoes or sandals so the kids can easily go from ride to ride.
We will take credit cards at the event but it would be good to bring cash. Cash is a much faster transaction.
Make sure as soon as you enter go to the egg pool to pull your egg out of the prize pool. Each ticket gets a one egg to pick out of the prize pool. Each egg will have candy or prizes. One egg will have $1,000.
This is a rain or shine event. It will not be rescheduled. There will be no refunds if it rains.
We will close right at 5:30pm. Anyone standing in line at 5:30pm will not get to ride. We will be up for 7 hours which is plenty of time to get all the activity in and ride on the different items you want.
There will be two easter bunnies on site for free picture opportunities with your phone.
No pets are allowed into the complex for this event.
Plenty of parking across the street and its free.
First 1,000 kids through the gate get a gift card for a free personal pan pizza that can be redeemed at any area pizza hut.
We are excited to bring this event to the City of Charleston and hope to make this an annual event!
