I want to share an update on the Sewing Project. Pastor Dennis from Uganda sent me these photos of the sewing machines they were able to purchase as a result of our donations!!!!! My heart is full to know we could help these women to be successful and on a positive road to helping themselves and their families. One of there biggest reasons these ladies want to earn money from making clothes is so they can give back to the school and church that has helped them in the midst of the genocide and horrific conditions they could be living in with their children. Thank to those that contributed in any way. Blessings....
Happy Monday Everyone! I wanted to give you a last chance to help with a project that is very important to me. I felt lead to help a school located in Uganda Africa that teaches women how to sew and make clothing. This is vital to these women because this is one of the few jobs they can do to earn money to feed their children. Many of these women have lost their husbands due to war and genocide. Unfortunately, when these women graduate which is approximately every 4 months, the school can only afford to provide them with 2 or 3 sewing machines. The class usually graduates 22 women on average. The reason this is important is because if they don't have a machine, they cannot work.
We have decided to help buy sewing machines for them. I will sending funds to Pastor Dennis whom I am friends with who started this school in the next couple of weeks to purchase the machines for the next graduating class.
If you would like to donate, please message me. I am accepting money via Cash App and checks made payable to Come Up Higher. It costs $90 for 1 sewing machine. Please give what you can. The photo below is a recent photo that Pastor Dennis sent me of 2 of the students in class.
Thank you so much!

My goal is to be able to help women locally and overseas. We need to help those around us but my compassion doesn’t stop at the boarder. We have many programs here to help women but most countries have little or no programs. I will be sharing some local projects soon as well❤️
I wanted to share a project I have launched via the Come Up Higher non-profit. This is our 1st project and I am so excited! I shared this video at the meeting yesterday and had a great response and everyone was so supportive.
Veronica Washington and I met a Pastor (Pastor Dennis) from Uganda, Africa about 1 month ago through our community connections and Pastors. We learned about a school for the 2.6 million orphans and women in Uganda that Pastor Dennis and his wife started. We were very intrigued at the idea that we could easily help these women who could in turn help their children.
Pastor Dennis's wife teaches a sewing class to about 22 women every 3-4 months. This enables these women to have a skill set and gives them hope for a prosperous future. Making clothing is one of the few ways women can make money there. Unfortunately, Pastor Dennis and his ministry are only able to supple approximately 2 women each graduating class with a sewing machine due to a lack of funds. Come Up Higher has committed to raising enough money so that we can provide all 22 women sewing machines for this February's graduating class. Each sewing machine is $90. You will see Pastor Dennis in the video with the women and orphans.
If you are interested in giving please contact me, Angela Beatty via messanger or at [email protected] Thank you so much! This is tax deductible as well. We are a 501c3.

What is Come Up Higher?
This is a non-profit focused on helping women (18 years +) of all backgrounds, race and economical status. If there are resources that are needed by any woman, our goal is to help get them what they need either directly, providing resources that can help them or providing them the tools to help themselves. Our passion is to see women Come Up Higher from wherever they are. There is no shame in receiving help and learning to stand on your own. Education is key to living a peaceful and purposed life. Our goal is to help every woman become confident, independent and hopeful about their future.
Angela Beatty, CEO of Come Up Higher, began a women’s group called “Come Up Higher” by holding meetings in her home once a month for any woman who could come that she was connected with on social media. The purpose of the meeting was to bring women together in a safe atmosphere where they could eat, mingle and learn something new at each meeting. She would typically have 1 or 2 women teach the others something new. For instance: financial budgeting, goal setting, diy, make up application, handbag organization, cooking techniques, etc... After holding these meeting for about 2 2/1 year she begin thinking of how she could take some of the same benefits of her meetings and turn it into a non-profit to help women in the community. This is how Come Up Higher 501c3 was birthed. Angela still holds the monthly women’s meetings. There are approximately 16 women in attendance each month.
