As most were beginning their weekend, we learned about a dog that was dumped by his owner at the local municipal shelter. The reason? He’s “old.” I met this dog years ago and fell in love, just as anyone who knew him did; we couldn’t let him stay. Another good friend of his volunteered to give him a safe place to land while we figured out what he needs. He had a vet visit this morning and we learned he has significant skin issues, ear infection, a mast cell tumor, and another hanging from his body. We will learn the results of his bloodwork soon, but surgery is inevitable later this week.
Puck is the kindest dog…even now. ❤️He’s 11 and to say he didn’t deserve this is a gross understatement. If you have a few bucks to spare, we could use the help, as this is something we did not expect. We will post updates as we have more information. Thank you!
