September 9: Run Club with special games and prizes, 6 pm run, 7 pm fun

We need your help! The Do Good Cville Winter Wear Drive in partnership with The Haven has started. Drop-off boxes are located throughout town now (including our taproom!) through November 13. We are looking for new or gently used winter coats/jackets, sweaters, long sleeve shirts, hats (all kinds), gloves, socks (new), underwear (new), and laundry detergent pods.

Our Charity Bingo on November 15th will also support this drive. Check out dogoodcville.org for more information.

Meet our November Pour It Forward beneficiary, the Building Goodness Foundation. BGF is a local nonprofit construction organization that partners with low-income homeowners, small business owners, and other nonprofits to complete construction and renovation projects through the Cville Builds Fund.

Throughout the month of November, $1 from every pint of our delicious Honeypot DIPA will be donated to BGF.

Join us for our rescheduled monthly Pints and Poses yoga class, this time at Public Lands Cville! This all levels Hatha Flow class is FREE to all participants AND you’ll get a ticket for a beer/beverage or kombucha to use at Random Row over the next week. No registration is necessary, please note the class starts at 10 am inside of Public Lands near the rock climbing wall. Please bring your own mat!

Shannon has been a yoga instructor in Charlottesville for over 13 years. She trained at the Charlottesville Yoga School and also teaches classes at ACAC. She also happens to be our brewer Kevin’s wife!!

Random Row lost one of our own this weekend in a tragic accident. If you knew Trevynn, you knew he was a big old teddy bear, willing to do whatever it took to help out, but definitely didn’t want to be in front of a camera or be the center of attention 😉. He could be a quiet soul but those that knew him well knew he was multi-faceted. He has been with us and worked hard for RR for over 3 years and our family at Random Row will miss him tremendously. Please consider donating to the Go Fund Me set up to help ease his family’s financial burden during this difficult time. Nothing is too small. Please keep his family in your thoughts as they navigate this challenging journey. And tell the people you love that you love them.

Another week of great things on tap!

Fall is officially here and October brings the beautiful fall weather with it. Sometimes those days are a little chilly, but hospitals are always cold! Meet our October Pour It Forward beneficiary, Cape Ivy. A non-profit serving local hospitals and hospitals throughout Virginia, their mission is to provide warmth, comfort, and support to children who have chronic or critical illnesses and their families. They provide fun fleece ponchos to children in the hospital because this item works well with medical equipment and IV lines. For the month of October, $1 from every pint of our Dirty Glass English Golden Ale will be donated to Cape Ivy. Cheers!

ONE MORE DAY…till the biggest, baddest, burliest brawl of the year, CLAW. Over 300 of your closest friends have already purchased tickets, buy yours today to ensure you don’t miss the best event of the year here in Cville.

A couple of things to note:
1. Parking is first come, first served. A suggested donation of $10 can get you a parking spot, cash-only. Otherwise, there is open parking behind Bodos and Exxon across the street, or park on the downtown mall. Carpooling is strongly suggested (and is good for the environment).
2. Kids are welcome. But do know that there is often adult content during the show. Use your judgment.
3. Doors open at 7 pm, We Are Star Children plays at 7:30 pm, wrasslin’ begins at 8. Ships In the Night will also make a musical guest star appearance.
4. There will be beer/drink stations outside, the Otto Street Food truck will be on-site, the bar inside will be open, and Billy Pie will be serving pizza.
5. Money raised for this show goes directly to CLAW, who is a local non-profit that serves our community by supporting other bad-ass non-profits in town.
