Senior Night 2024

We are so incredibly thankful and proud of our seniors! Thank you serving and being a light of Christ the past 4 years! We are praying for you on your next adventures! Congratulations on graduation!!!!

Also we are so thankful for our amazing campus missionaries this past year! Maria and Jeffrey thank you for all you did! We love you and will miss you so much!

We hope yall have such an amazing summer! Can’t wait to see you in the fall! 🥲🤍

Our DNow mission crew has left!!

Partnered with , they are prepping for the dnow weekend through personal quiet time and group studies of the lessons. They are doing this in a cabin in Gatlinburg, TN!

Our Puerto Rico team is officially half way through their mission trip serving Camp Victoria on Vieques!! So far they have renovated an old barn to create bathrooms for the camp, cleared trails and brush around the property, pressure washed a roof, remodeled a bathroom, built the structure for new countertops, painted a fence and have learned a ton about the guidance of the Holy Spirit from missionaries Bob and Melissa. The Lord’s provision as they have pursued this calling is a testimony to the Lord’s timing and his faithfulness. It has challenged our team to slow down and rely solely on the Lord’s plan.

Our team is extremely grateful for the opportunity to serve this week in the beauty of the Lord’s creation. Please continue to pray for resilience and energy as our team finishes out the week in Puerto Rico.

Our Beach Reach mission team has already hit the ground ministering to college students at Panama City Beach! Please pray for them as they serve the Lord late into the night and through out the day. We are so proud of this team and the work that they are doing this week!

Incredibly proud of our 2024 Puerto Rico Mission Trip squad! They began their journey to Vieques, Puerto Rico this morning!

The mission team is helping to build a camp. Clearing land, laying block for new bunk houses, maintenance, painting. Sharing the gospel with the people on the island.

A few nights ago, students from all over the campus at UTC met at the historic Patten Chapel to celebrate Advent. It’s was a beautiful expression of the unity we have in Christ. Entirely student-led, nearly 10 diverse organizations came together to experience and share the story of Christ’s coming with this incredible campus. Beautiful.

Fall Retreat 2023 was wonderful!

Our BCM family had a lots of quality time together to rest, play games, and get to know each other and the Lord better! We grew through each message on 1 Peter.

Fall Retreat 2022 is officially over. The theme of the weekend was 1 Thessalonians and how the Gospel can do even more than we can Imagine.

During our Fall retreat, we had a Friday night theme of bingo and wrapped up our fall retreat on Saturday night with a bonfire. The Lord moved in a lot of ways this weekend, and a lot of our students were able to unplug and rest.

Be praying for us as we can continue to have intentional conversations with our students coming back from this retreat.

Last night was a bitter sweet moment for us. Bailey Biddle, our Campus Missionary, taught at the Well for the last time.

In October, he will be stepping up as the Assistant to the Director of Missions at the Hamilton County Baptist Association. We were blessed by his message and his service the last year and half and we will be praying that God continues to use him in big ways.

As we move ahead we are looking forward to how God is going to work through our Fall Retreat this coming weekend!

This week we have continued to keep the momentum from welcome week. We have had a great turn-out for our Wednesday Lunches and the Well. We have so many new faces coming in our building. Keep praying for us as we continue to minister to these college students.

We had Alan Denton from Ridgedale Baptist Church come kick off our Genesis character study on Abraham. We appreciate his and Ridgedale’s investment in our students.

We have continued to have a great consistent turn out at all of our events! Lunch has been successful and keep praying for our students and ministry opportunities.

First Well and bowling night was a great success! We had Chris Gaither from Redeemer Fellowship Baptist Chutch launching our Genesis Character Study on Adam and Eve.

Then after the Well, we went bowling. That officially wraps up our welcome week. We were so encouraged by all the students that came through here.

Operation move-in 2022! Welcome week is here!

Spent the day doing some good old fashion yard work. We had some great helpers today who made our BCM look fantastic.

Second to last orientation last night with special guest Steven Johnston. Steven got to experience his first orientation last night as campus minister. This summer has been very fruitful and we can’t wait to see everyone back in the building come August!
