My favorite part of the year is here! Yay!

If you don't know, I am a nature lover. I love gardening outside-both flowers and veggies and am a crazy plant Mom (currently at 94 indoor house plants 😲). I love finding beautiful trails to walk/hike. I love the spring rainshowers because that gives me an excuse to open the windows and cuddle up to binge-watch another show.

My goals for this season? While I'm busy planting the seeds and fertilizing the flowers, I will remember to do the same for myself.

I have really been focusing on health & reducing stress and taking time to do the things that bring me joy.

Many of you don't know but at the start of my career, even while I was in Cosmetology school, I was in a very dark place. This career path saved me and completely changed my life. It has allowed me to live my dreams and create something new for me and my daughter.

Looking back, I've met the most amazing people and am so blessed to be surrounded by an amazing Tribe of women that are hands-down just the most kind, caring, and fierce women I know. Every day, I walk into work with a smile on my face.

Today, I also want to celebrate this moment with those who have been with me since I was the green little newbie. Thank you for being a part of my journey, your loyalty and support. To my current Guests- Thank you for allowing me to serve you. You have no idea how much joy you all bring me.

So CHEERS!! Thanking God above for providing and can't wait to see what the next dozen will bring. Come celebrate with me! 🎊

I know you have days when you doubt yourself and are unsure of what Life will bring. You're feeling scared, insecure, and don't know what your purpose is.

I'm here to tell you that as long as you keep putting one foot in front of the other, listen to that still voice inside you, and trust the process, you are going to accomplish things you didn't know were possible!

Today, I still feel insecure, fear, and unsure but I lean on those who wish to see me win and I remember the struggles we have been through. And for that I can stand a hell of a lot taller!

This is exactly what happens to us every other Saturday. She's my last guest of the day and honestly, I'm probably hungry, need to p*e, and am already sick of wearing this damn mask. So what happens?? I get real silly!

Some days I don't know how y'all put up with me! LOL

But by the end of her visit, after all the laughing and carrying on, we manage to take some pics and looking at her pic....it was all worth it!

Thank you to all of you who make sure I'm fed, hydrated, bladder emptied, or maybe just in need of a nap.

𝗧𝗼𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝗶𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗱𝗮𝘆!!

I have been playing with the idea of adding another certification to my Cosmetology license for almost 2 yrs now and I finally made the commitment!

Starting today, I begin classes to become a 𝗧𝗥𝗜𝗖𝗛𝗢𝗟𝗢𝗚𝗜𝗦𝗧!

A Trichologist is like the middle man between a Cosmetologist & a Dermatologist. I will be diving deep into scalp conditions as well as the cause of hair loss & hair thinning and offering treatments to deal with both.

I'm so excited to start this new journey!!
