Beginning today, LCSD1 will be offering summer meals for children 18 years of age and younger at various locations. The meals are funded through the summer Food Service Program. Questions, call 771-2440 or visit https://nutrition.laramie1.org/
LCSD1 is offering a summer coding and robotics program for incoming sixth- through eighth-grade students, July 10-20, at Rossman Elementary, 916 W. College Drive. The program is free to LCSD1 students. Breakfast and lunch are provided. Students must have their own transportation. Use the QR code to register. Space is limited to the first 25 students.
The district is excited to host an informational event for parents, families and LCSD1 stakeholders on Thursday, May 18 from 4:30-6:30 p.m. at Storey Gym. This event will provide an excellent opportunity to learn about the science of reading and the way in which the brain learns to read. Please RSVP through the Elementary English Language Arts office.

Online prekindergarten registration will be held from March 1-15. During the 2023-2024 school year, two programs will be offered: Title I and Tuition Based. Any child who has turned 4 years old by Aug. 1, 2023 is eligible to attend. Children who have turned 5 years old on or before Aug. 1, 2023 are eligible for kindergarten. To register, visit the district’s website, www.laramie1.org. Look for the green box titled “online registration” on the homepage and select the “new student” button. For assistance with online registration, contact the LCSD1 service desk at 771-2242 or [email protected]. For more information, call 771-2187.
