Sfera Sicilian Street Food

This is Daniela and Steven, Co-Founders of Sfera Sicilian Street Food. They embarked on their culinary journey together in 2018, turning their entrepreneurial spirit and love for authentic cuisine into Sfera Sicilian Street Food. Their venture began at local farmers markets where they introduced their now-signature item, Arancini. With growing popularity, they transitioned to a ghost kitchen, eventually opening their first brick-and-mortar location in Edgewater, Chicago, in 2022.

Sfera's culinary excellence and unique offerings quickly gained recognition, including being highlighted by the New York Times as a key stop when visiting Chicago. For Daniela and Steven, this was an acknowledgment of their dedication to bringing the vibrant flavors and culture of Sicily to the Chicago food scene.

Every day, they feel grateful for the opportunity to share their passions with the community and to turn their dream into a celebrated reality. Through Sfera, Daniela and Steven continue to expand the appreciation of the Sicilian food culture while creating unforgettable dining experiences.

This is our San Giuseppe Arancina. Its name was inspired by the beautiful red that’s often worn in honor of the patron saint of Sicily, St. Joseph.

Hand rolled Crisp Risotto balls filled with Roasted Red Peppers, Smoked Paprika, Garlic Spinach and Fontina. Served with Sfera Marinara.
