Pro tip for the Chicago Scene Raft Off Party;

Martini & Bikini; 55' Azimut with fly bridge will start main line of yachts with several other 55' yachts right at noon, center of playpen approximately 200 yards off shore. Once all the 55' are tied, then we start rafting off the 40 footers, then the 30 footers, and so on and so forth. If you're not there ready at noon, you probably won't be on the main line. You can then form your own lines either in front or behind the main line, following our orientation. Be sure to have every other yacht drop at least 50 ' of anchor chain (we'll be in about 15' of water). You'll need to anchor 50' in front of your line, then reverse into position. If not, we can send waverunners later to carry our anchors' 50' forwards to secure our lines. Please be conscious of this, as the lines could slide into one another throughout the day.

Everyone participating have fun and be safe! Keep track of your passengers and be aware of your ties and fenders.

Yachti is a boat charter start-up offering small and large boat excursions in Chicago. We are committed to creating fun and memorable experiences that people can look back on for the rest of their lives.
Excursions include Luxury charters on a 62’ boat (20 guest capacity), and adventure charters on a 24’ boat (6 guest capacity)

Strong and reliable work ethic
A passion for social media marketing
Multitask and prioritize work efficiently and effectively
Work alongside a diverse team of interns and the founder to help develop and grow brand awareness via social media platforms and blog posts
Confidence and willingness to speak up and offer suggestions and communicate effectively with Yachti staff

Responsibilities:

General:

Assist in brand growth by raising awareness through:
Primarily: Facebook, Instagram,
Secondary Channels: Twitter, TikTok, Reddit, and Blog Posts
Provide attentive customer service and build lasting relationships through timely responses and a positive attitude
Work up to 10 hours/week from the beginning of June through the end of September

Specific:

Develop content for focused channel based on calendar
Monitor postings to ensure the brand message is consistent (including messaging and images)
Assist in the day-to-day aspects of promoting the business’s campaigns
Interact directly with followers and potential customers by communicating and answering questions through the company's social pages
Oversee the creating and implementation of a monthly editorial which includes monthly setting internal sales objectives and initiatives


Success in the position:

Set calendar schedule for social media posts up to the end of October
Creating connections to individuals who can provide high-quality content (videography/ photography)
Growing social media followers above 1000 for each channel
Maintaining a social media response time of less than 24-hours

Qualifications:

Must have posted consistently (at least 2x/week) on your social media for the last 3+ months
Must be familiar with building and designing posts and willing to design a mock post as part of the interview process
High School Graduate or GED required, enrolled in (or recently graduated from) college preferred
Entry-Level knowledge of marketing strategy and concepts
Entry-Level knowledge of Search Engine Optimization (SEO) preferred - not required

Compensation:

At the end of the season, our social media interns will be invited to bring up to 4 of their friends to accompany them on one of our big boat charters valuing $4900 (only applies to those that complete the internship)
Yachti will provide any information needed to earn scholastic credits if desired
