Captain:
Anita Dee Yacht Charters is currently hiring full time year round, full time seasonal, and or part time Captains.

Responsibilities

The Captain will be held responsible for the safe operation and the well-being of all persons on board the vessel during his/her watch not only by the company but also by the United States Coast Guard.
As the Leader of every event, the Captain is expected to ensure all staff conducts themselves per company standards and policies. We expect our Captains to be familiar with all subordinate duties and ensure all duties are completed professionally to exceptional standards.
The General Duties of the Captain are as follows:
· Ensure vessel and its systems are maintained in good working order.
· Ensure vessel meets and operates in accordance of USCG rules and regulations.
· Ensure any maintenance concerns are either addressed or brought to the attention of the maintenance department immediately.
· Maintain competent, well trained, and professional marine staff.
· Ensure all marine staff is trained in safety, security, customer service and daily duties.
· Ensure marine staff is scheduled to adequately staff, prepare, and maintain vessels without labor waste.
· Ensure all marine staff is uniformed to company standards.
· Captains must ensure themselves and any staff under their supervision performs maintenance tasks per the maintenance manager and company policies.
· Must ensure all persons work in a safe manor, and take actions to protect adjacent assets and property.
Captains are expected to conduct themselves in a professional manor at all times, and to be a positive leader for all of our staff. They are expected to ensure that all company expectations and policies are met, and should strive to surpass them.

The Ideal Candidate will have the following:
- 5+ years experience as a licensed passenger vessel Captain
- 5+ years experience in managing staff
- 5+ years experience in customer service related roles
- Operational knowledge of vessel systems and maintenance
Minimum requirements:
- Valid 100 ton masters license issued by USCG
- Valid TWIC identification
Compensation will depend on experience.

First Mate:
Anita Dee Yacht Charters is currently hiring full and part time first mates.
Responsibilities
The First Mate is essentially the Assistant Captain and the staff leader during events. The First Mate and the Captain will work together to ensure the vessel and staff are 100% prepared for each event and also ensure customer satisfaction. The Captain is the final authority while on watch and is held accountable for the vessel, its staff, and the overall customer experience, therefore the First Mate is to always take direction from the Captain. First Mate will be required to direct all vessel staff and interact with customer contacts while the Captain is maneuvering the vessel or at the direction of the Captain, therefore the First Mate will be required to conduct and lead staff per company standards and expectations. The first mate will be familiar with all subordinate duties and ensure they are completed to the Captains exceptional standards.
The General Duties of the First Mate will be to assist the Captain with his general duties which are:
· Ensure vessel and its systems are maintained in good working order.
· Ensure vessel meets and operates in accordance of USCG rules and regulations.
· Ensure any maintenance concerns are either addressed or brought to the attention of the maintenance department immediately.
· Maintain competent, well trained, and professional marine staff.
· Ensure all marine staff is uniformed to company standards.
· Direct marine staff in exterior cleaning and vessel preparation.
· Walk through vessel, interior and exterior and note any issues or concerns that will need to be addressed for the event.
· Do all daily machinery checks and inspections, address any issues.
· Oversee and ensure all closing procedures are performed per company policy.
· Perform general vessel maintenance.
First Mates are expected to be a positive leader for our staff, and are expected to ensure that all company expectations and policies are met.
The Ideal Candidate will posses:
- 100 Ton Masters license
- 2+ years experience in staff management
- 2+ years marine crew experience on commercial vessel.
- 2+ years experience in customer service related role.
- working knowledge of vessel systems and maintenance
Compensation depends on experience $20/hour +

Deckhand:
Only honest, dependable and serious candidates will be considered.
Job earns an hourly rate plus occasional gratuity.
MARINE CREW CANDIDATE Must possess the Following:
-Must be responsible, punctual and have integrity
-Energetic and social personality is essential
-Pass pre-employment drug screen and be able to pass random drug screenings
-Work extended hours if needed
-Effectively understand and convey verbal and written information to guests and personal aboard
-Possess a service orientation
-Must be a team player and able to take direction from superior and perform tasks independently with integrity
-Have availability to work nights and weekend hours
-Able to perform physical work on the vessel including moving up to 40 pounds, managing lines and deck equipment and cleaning exterior/interior of the vessels.
-Ability to be trained on safety and marine protocol and respond effectively to emergency situations
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Seasonal
Salary: $15.00 - $17.00 /hour depending on experience
