1. Our entire team is staying the same, along with a few great additions, which means that we'll continue to serve some of the Wazwan fave dishes like the THC Sando, Wazwanimal Burger, Tiger Prawns, and more. We'll also be adding several dishes in collaboration with Won Kim to embrace our South Asian approach to the bar program.

3. We will no longer be BYOB, both at Lilac Tiger and The Coach House. We have a full program offering an array of signature cocktails, wine and beer, spirits, and more.
4. We will be be opening Lilac Tiger for full service to the public on Wednesday, September 20th! Come on through and bring your friends. We will still be acting as BYOB and as Wazwan until then...don't mind the physical changes that will already be in effect around you.
5. Wazwan will continue to exist and live on at our campus locations at UIC and U of C. Head to Hyde Park or South Loop and check us out!

This past year felt like a dream, taking what started in 2017 as a 4 top Valentines dinner at ‘s place in bucktown to now approaching our second year as a brick and mortar while gathering Jean Banchet & for best Chef great lakes nominations feels surreal.
Every single individual whether you’re here with us now or not, i appreciate all who have been part of our team who contributed to what we achieved as a team.
So happy for the winners representing Chicago but also giving a salute to from in detroit representing our culture and continuing to push on.
Getting to finally spend some time with everyone whose grinding and on the same journey as you is priceless. And honestly, just making those connections felt so good i can’t describe how much it meant to me.
Here’s to all the bootstrapped, dreamers, culinary pirates!
Hard work pays off, make sure to enjoy the journey, because every milestone you achieve, that feeling of achieving something for the first time only happens once.
