Holy Trinity Church Downtown
We are in the heart of the city to reach the soul of the city.
Holy Trinity Church is a Gospel preaching, multi-ethnic church, with four locations in the heart of Chicago (Downtown, South side, West side, North side).
Language of the Heart: Reading Biblical Poetry. This 6-week Biblical Interpretation course will provide strategies for reading and understanding this important genre of Scripture. We’ll consider together how the poetry of Scripture can speak to our hearts and provide us with unique language for worship, discipleship, and mission. Please register by April 1 to guarantee childcare.

Redemptive Technology. Is it possible? What does it mean to honor God with our use and creation of technology?
We are thrilled to partner with our friends at FaithTech to bring this exciting discussion to Chicago. More than just a lecture, the workshop will consist of discussions, panels, and meaningful interaction with professionals in the industry. We are seeking to develop a community of professionals in the tech ecosystem who are connected and committed to the awakening of a revival through the redemptive work of technologists.
Through TED-style talks, panels, and a practical workshop, we will challenge one another in how we view and interact with technology and discuss action-oriented steps to develop redemptive technology in a uniquely Christ-centered, God-honoring way.

As Easter approaches, we are excited to continue the tradition of hosting international students for an Easter meal. Please consider setting a few extra place settings at your table on either Easter Saturday or Resurrection Sunday: students will be available each of these days (March 30 or 31). There’s no easier time to share about the hope of the gospel with a new friend from overseas than over a meal at this time of year. You could invite them to join you at a Good Friday service or Resurrection Day service. If you choose Saturday, you could even choose to make Easter eggs with the students, have a gathering with your small group, or have an Easter picnic if the weather is nice.
Please register by Sunday March 17. If you have any questions, contact Kim TerAvest.

Join us on March 11th at 7:00pm for a “Taste of ReEngage”. Holy Trinity’s marriage ministry’s curriculum, Re-Engage, is an opportunity to study, individually, as a couple, and in a confidential, authentic group setting, how God would have us live our married lives. It is a discipleship curriculum encouraging couples to grow as disciples of Jesus Christ and to see their marriages through the lens of the Gospel. The Re-Engage curriculum brings out the predictable issues that all couples will encounter during their married lives and how God would have each of us respond to them.
This one-hour informational session will meet via Zoom on March 11th at 7:00pm. Past and current Re-Engage participants will share their experiences, and you will have the opportunity to ask any questions you may have. More information and sign-ups can be found on the website.
Last night was our final session of A Passion for Parenting: Applying Biblical Wisdom to Modern Life. It was a joy to walk alongside parents this winter learning together about topics of discipline, technology, corporate worship and family rhythms as they align with God’s heart for his children.

Lunch will be March 3 immediately following the 11am service. Please RSVP to Kevin Walker.
Join Faith & Work Chicago on Saturday, March 16th for the second workshop in our Industry Series as we look at the gospel and Healthcare. More than just a lecture, the workshop will consist of discussions, panels, and meaningful interaction with healthcare professionals. The desire is to develop a “micro-community” of healthcare professionals in Chicago who are connected and leading the way concerning conversations about the health of our bodies and minds. We invite anyone to join us who wants to be part of the discussion on how to think, speak, and act biblically regarding our bodies, our health, and our approach to healthcare.

You can find the pledge form below; please submit your pledge by Sunday, February 25th. Your participation in this process is helping the church grow in its financial discipleship. Thank you!
