⭐️ For today's PWC and Whole Home Modifications Director Spotlight, we're shining the light on our Director of PWC's Whole Home Innovation Center, Aaron Grant! ⭐️
Aaron has been with PWC and Whole Home for nearly 13 years as a field technician, Volunteer Program Manager, and with the Innovation Center.
His favorite memory is when the team organized a project for a client who was raising her 11-year-old daughter on her own:
"The home’s only bathroom sink and toilet were broken, the light fixtures didn’t operate, the front steps were dangerous, and the electrical service was pulling the rotten fascia off the house. Over a few weeks, PWC staff and volunteers provided the client's home with repair and maintenance services. Shortly after we finished, the client’s daughter wrote us a thank-you card, saying 'You basically helped us live.'
It was just so powerful that she distilled our entire mission into that simple statement, and that this is exactly the kind of impact we hope to have."
Aaron goes on to share what makes the Whole Home Innovation Center different and why it is important to PWC:
"The Innovation Center is the place where we can try new programs, pilot different ideas, grow new partnerships, and then use what we learn to increase the impact of PWC’s services while reaching new groups of stakeholders by demonstrating why all of us have a stake in keeping each of us safe and healthy at home."
We are so grateful to have Aaron as part of the PWC/Whole Home team! Congratulations on your promotion to Director. 🎉
NOW HIRING: Searching for a job where you'll make a difference in the community? Come work for PWC! https://bit.ly/WorkAtPWC24
