Meet our final intern addition for this Fall!! And from my Alma Mater no less!! 👩‍🎓👩‍🎓 It is always extra exciting for me when we have the opportunity to welcome an intern from
Austin Peay’s Clinical Mental Health program. They are one of the only programs in our area which allows their Masters students to provide counseling to undergraduate students prior to internship. Why should this matter to you? Because this means that interns from APSU have already established basic counseling skills and are a step ahead when they meet with their first clients during internship with us!

Sara Belk is excited to get started and is now accepting new clients ages 5 and above. She plans to utilize play therapy with younger clients, in addition to CBT with teens and adults. Sara also plans to work with couples and families in order to improve relationships.
