The Pre- Vet Club at Austin Peay strives to include all of those who are passionate about the health care of animals
This club is open to all agriculture students and other interested students at the University. Its purpose is to promote fellowship among agriculture students, especially pre-veterinary medicine majors. Activities typically include food socials, fundraising, hands on opportunities, as well as visits to institutions with veterinary medicine programs

We had a great time at the American Pre-Veterinary Medical Association Symposium! Students were able to meet with vet school admission representatives, attend lectures and labs relevant to students headed into the Veterinary profession.

FREE VACCINES AVAILABLE THROUGH OUR PETCO LOVE VACCINE GRANT!!
Starting this Friday November 2nd, 2021 we will be conducting a Vaccine/Microchip clinic here at the shelter, 616 N. Spring St. As part of our Petco Love vaccine grant we will be providing the Feline (Rhinotracheitis/Panleukopenia) vaccine and the Canine (Distemper/Parainfluenza/Parvovirus) vaccine FREE.
We will also be providing the 1 Year Rabies Vaccine/Registration for $15.00 and microchip implanting/registration for $10.00.
- Feline - (Rhinotracheitis/Calici/Panleukopenia Vaccine - FREE
- Canine - (Distemper/Parvo/Parainfluenza Vaccine - FREE
