Meet Hazel & Sage

These precious kitties are looking for love, compassion and a new home to call their own again. They used to have a home, but had to be surrendered due to a living situation. They are confused and just want normalcy and a family again.

Sage is a tabby & white, handsome boy, estimated at about 1.5 years old.
Hazel is a gorgeous dilute tortie. She is estimated to be about 1 year old.

These babies have been together all of Hazels life and we are not about to change that now. They must be adopted together, no exceptions.

They are very sweet and loving. They love to be pet and Hazel will even give you loving head bumps when she gets to know you. Sage just purrs and lifts his b***y for all the butt scratches. They are really amazing kitties that just need time to adapt into a new home. But, together, they will prevail and find a place to call home again!

Gentle Giant Alert!!

This sweet, gigantic kitty is Cowboy. He is approx 18 months old and a BIG boy, already over 10 lbs! Cowboy is a lover but he is very scared and shy right now. He needs a family that will be patient and let him gain his trust in you. You see, this amazing boy has lost some trust in humans. While undergoing his neuter surgery, the vet investigated a mass in his face and it turned out that an evil being had shot this cat in the face 😭 He was taken care of immediately, the debris removed and he has healed. Now, he needs to know that not all humans are evil. Cowboy loves his wet food and chin scratches, so that is the way to his heart. He is not a fan of dogs as they are big, scary and loud so he needs a home without dogs for sure. Due to his size and how he is timid, he would probably do the best as an only pet in the household where he can just focus on humans loving him. ⚠ UPDATE ON MARILYN.........HELP STILL NEEDED!!

Marilyn had another checkup with the opthamologist today and he is seeing a lot of improvement! She is our only truly expensive case in the rescue right now but its adding up fast! We have gotten this far, we MUST keep going to save this eye!!

Marilyns backstory:

She was born into rescue with her 4 siblings. She is 6 months old now and while waiting to be adopted, she got an upper respiratory infection from her sister. Her sister recovered and unfortunately, Marilyns URI caused a separate issue, a badly ulcerated eye where the ulcer has gotten infected.
We are trying desperately to save her eye because as bad as it looks, she still has some vision and we're hoping it can recover fully. She is on very strict medications that keeps her foster on her toes every hour of the day.
The goal is to get that infection cleared so the ulcer can heal and hopefully bring the eye back to "normal".
Marilyn has been under constant vet watch and was brought to the opthalmologist in Nashville for their expertise. All fingers crossed, we save this babies eye.

***All this comes with a huge cost to the rescue. All the medications, weekly vet visits and now specialty care, adds up quickly.**

*The initial appt to the specialist was $250 just to walk in the door. Every follow up she needs at that specialist, is another $150 instantly, plus medication refills. She is on 8 different medications at this point and as you can imagine, those add up 💲💲💲 This is all on top of the local vet bill, helping as much as possible to save us the Nashville trips.*

But, we will do whatever it takes to try and keep her eye!
If you can spare anything to go towards her treatment, we'd be forever grateful, and so would this sweet, sweet girl!

I am a crazy orange cat, but still super sweet and loving. I love to hold your attention and will not tolerate sharing your love with anything else. I’ll slap that phone right out of your hands. If you don’t give me cuddles I will give you the love bite. Hard. So be aware that I am a particular kind of fella. I love to be where you are. I enjoy climbing high and sitting on your shoulders. If you take a while in the bathroom, you better make room for company because I love to sit on your or in the sink next to you. I’ll even watch you while you shower. Muahahahahaha. I have been around dogs and love to get groomed by them. I also have a toddler that I tolerate well BUT I will love bite them too, so take caution. I am 6 months old and I enjoy the company of others cats.

Bonded sisters Matilda and Carina are the last of a hoarding case we took in several months ago. They are both estimated to be just under 2 years old. Matilda is playful and very loving. With Matilda by her side, Carina is actually the most loving, but only with the reassurance of her sister. Lots of headbutts and rubs exchanged between these two. It’s truly a sweet bond.
Matilda’s eye is scarred and will remain as is. She has been checked by the veterinarian and cleared. Both are good with other nice animals.

They must be adopted together. They need to go to a home with experience with kitties. Their new family needs to understand they will take time and love. They had a very rough start to life and are still learning to trust humans. With lots of love and patience these girls will bring nothing but joy to their new family.
