The Tennessean Student of the Week honors the JROTC. Vote now in our poll Rutherford, Sumner, Montgomery, Wilson, Davidson and Williamson among districts with nominees this week.

There is a drill team parents meeting tomorrow at 6:00 ( Wednesday) if you can make it in 1st SGT's room to discuss competitions and support.

On 7 September 2024, SFC Farmer took two Raider teams to compete in the annual “Bring The Sting” Raider competition at Fairview HS. This is always a long day filled with grueling events that require commitment, personal strength and most importantly…team work. Both of our Raider teams represented themselves and WCHS JROTC very well.

On 6 September 2024, COL Lightner the CMCSS Director of Army Instruction (DAI) visited West Creek HS to award two of our Cadets with the DAI Coin of Excellence. Taliyah Harrison was selected as an All American Cheerleader and will have the opportunity to perform around the country. Rachel Arnette, has been in the WCHS flight program for two years and over the summer completed her first solo flight (fixed-wing). Both Cadets continue to represent WCHS and Army JROTC at an incredibly high level and are paving the way to reaching their personal and professional goals.

In the coming weeks we'll have a 4 in 1 store (JROTC overall, Raider team, Drill team, marksmanship team) through X-Grain. X-Grain produces very nice apparel at a reasonable price.

Color Guard at last nights first football game of the season!! 🇺🇸

Over the summer, Cadet Taliyah Harrison attended the UCA Cheer Camp in Gatlinburg, TN. While at the UCA camp Taliyah competed for and was awarded All American status a cheerleader. As an All American, Taliyah will now be invited to perform at special events across the country. Taliyah’s first special event will be performing in the Christmas Parade at Magic Kingdom (FL) in November. Additionally, Taliyah has been selected for the UCA Leadership Pin it Forward award. In addition to cheerleading Taliyah is very active in JROTC and school activities. The future is definitely bright for this young lady.

2024 West Creek HS JROTC graduate Cloe Robinson(Regimental S4), recently graduates US Air Force Academy basic training and is now on her way to her job training. Cloe was an outstanding Cadet and we have no doubt she’ll serve our country with the same pride that she served West Creek High School.

The raider team is hosting a Sponsorship fundraiser!The party/company/business etc. if chooses to participate has agreed to the placement of their brand and or specific requested logo to be placed on the back of our West Creek High School (WCHS) JROTC Raider team shirt and said logo shall appear reasonably visible. If we can raise enough money we will be competing in thirteen different events with three of the events being National level. Our school uses your company products and or plans to use your company in the future and your name will be traveling and represented with a wide range of exposure.

Just a reminder the first booster club meeting is Tuesday Aug 13th at 5:30pm. Please use the JROTC hallway doors for entry. (Back of the building) We will have a paw print posted on the door and cadets letting people in.
