Tri-C Classical Piano Series presents Lang Lang's Young Scholars in Free Community Concert on Thursday, June 27th at 7pm at the Metropolitan Campus Auditorium. Don't miss the chance to hear these talented pianists during their Cleveland residency for the Young Scholars Summit at the Cleveland Institute of Music!
Program will include compositions by Beethoven, Chopin, Rachmaninoff, and more.

Registration for 2024 Summer Camps Opens Monday, March 4!
The Creative Arts Academy is offering a wide range of summer camps for students ages 4-18 this summer. In addition to the popular dance, vocal arts, string orchestra, and digital arts camps, we’re offering new summer camps for percussion, keyboard, concert band, and a theater tech training program! All camps are offered at minimal or no cost to students, and lunch is included. We invite students to explore the creative arts in an immersive and fun setting.

Cleveland Photo Fest and Tri-C presents Cleveland on the Streets at Tri-C’s Gallery East. This exhibition features unique photography that presents the ubran/cityscape in and around Northeastern Ohio. Students the Creative Arts Academy will be featured in Seasonal Sounds, a special holiday performance on Sunday, December 10th at 1pm at the Cleveland Museum of Natural History, located at 1 Wade Oval in Cleveland. CAA students from The Orchestra Program and Crescendo Strings Program will be featured along with students from Cleveland School of the Arts and the Cleveland Orchestra Instrumental Youth Program. Cuyahoga Community College Invites Northeast Ohio Piano Students to Participate in 101 Pianists Education Event With Lang Lang on Monday, April 29, 2024
Cuyahoga Community College (Tri-C)’s Classical Piano Series and the Creative Arts Academy will welcome international piano legend Lang Lang in a special presentation of his renowned music education program 101 Pianists on Monday, April 29, 2024, showcasing 100 young pianists selected from Northeast Ohio to participate in this unique master class and public performance.
Piano instructors throughout Northeast Ohio are invited to recommend students between ages 6-18 who possess strong musical ability, have some performance experience, and who demonstrate an ability to work and respond in a group setting. The Tri-C Classical Piano Series welcomes award-winning pianist and humanitarian Mahani Teave on Sunday, Oct. 22, at 2 p.m. at the Cleveland Museum of Art’s Gartner Auditorium. An Easter Island native, Teave is a pioneering artist who bridges the creative world with education and environmental activism. She will perform works from her debut album, Rapa Nui Odyssey, along with Chopin, Liszt and Rachmaninoff.

Rising American pianist Maxim Lando will make his Cleveland debut in the Classical Piano Series on Sunday, Oct. 8th at 2pm at Cleveland Museum of Art’s Gartner Auditorium. Lando replaces Czech pianist Jan Bartoš, who is unable to perform due to an illness. The performance is free, but tickets are required. Tri-C Theatre Arts presents the Ohio premiere of Bulletproof Backpack Oct. 25-28 at 7:30 p.m. at the Western Campus Theatre. The play, written by Eric Coble and directed by James Rankin, tells the story of Cloe, a high school student who sees a classmate compiling a list of names. Is it an innocent act or the beginning of something much more dangerous? Cloe has one night to decide if she should say something and possibly ruin her classmate’s life over a misunderstanding or let it go and risk a catastrophe. Join us for an unforgettable night of live film scores at the Tri-C Metropolitan Campus Auditorium on Sunday, November 5th! Experience the magic as the talented musicians of Cleveland's Contemporary Youth Orchestra (CYO) bring to life two short films created through the Film Academy's Film Crew Intensive Training, playing original scores live to picture. The event will also feature panel discussions with composer Scott Hallgren and Directors Rick Page and Kara White to discuss the process of creating these scores and working with CYO. A must for film and music lovers alike! Featured Films include Snow Globe & The Cat and The Resistance. Admission is free, but seat reservations are required.

Spanned across the three major campuses, Tri-C Creative Arts Division is responsible for production five or more major theatrical productions throughout the season, several art gallery installations and music and dance events across all our campuses. Directed, produced and visualized by leading professionals in the Greater Cleveland Area, the students have an up close and personal involvement with the production as well as many opportunities to volunteer backstage and experience their creativity in a whole new light.
