Friends, i am coming to you to ask prayers for two members of my family. First, my Mom's younger sister (84) who was very badly injured in a car wreck this past Sunday. See below the details:
Many of our friends already know, but I wanted to give an update. Our “Fran-ma” (my grandmother, Frances Harrison) was involved in a car accident this morning just before church. She was medflighted to Huntsville and is currently in the ICU. She has many broken bones including her neck, back, sternum and elbow. She also has a head laceration that required stitches. She is alert and talking so we are very thankful for that. She is in a lot of pain and has a long way to recovery. She will have surgery at some point this week, so we ask for prayers that it will go well.

Secondly, my first cousin's son Benny Beavers. See below:
Family and friends,
As some of you may know, our son, Benny Beavers, was recently diagnosed with thyroid cancer. Thankfully, he lives in Ohio and is able to get care at the Cleveland Clinic. He has been undergoing numerous tests and scans and in the next few days he will be undergoing two intensive surgeries so he can beat this thing. After that, there will be radiation and whatever the doctors tell us to do. We are all staying strong and he is a superhero taking this on with strength and a sense of humor. I am sending out a request for prayers and positive thoughts and all your good energy out there to help get him through this.

BLESSING OF THE BACKPACKS SUNDAY, July 22nd during the worship hour at 11. Bring your backpacks and receive a blessing. Immediately following the service we will have potluck followed by a friendly game of ball. This is for all ages. Please join us for a fun filled day!

Greenleaf’s Fall Festival was a Hit!! Shoutout to everyone who made it happen!!

Our youth will be attending the Winter Extreme Christian Conference in Gatlinburg in December. They are selling T-shirts to help raise money. All shirts are comfort colors. Let us know if you would like to buy a shirt.

Join us for Wednesday night sprouts at Greenleaf UMC tomorrow night at 6! Ages 3 to 18! We feed them a good meal and then feed them God's word.

16 youth at Greenleaf UMC tonight eager to learn about God! Cannot wait to see what the Lord has in store for this group!

We finished up VBS last night and let’s just say we had a BLAST!!! Thank you parents for trusting us with your kids!!

We are so excited to see everyone, online sign ups will be coming soon!

Times will be 6-8:30 with supper provided!!
Your child’s will do crafts, games, and dance all while learning the word of GOD!!

VBS is sneaking up on us! This is one of our biggest events we have and we absolutely love it.
We are needing volunteers to teach and lead our kids around.
I will hand out literature on Wednesday night.

Join us on April 16 at 12 for our Annual Easter Egg Hunt.
We will have hotdogs, the story of Easter, egg hunts for different ages and the Easter Bunny will even make his appearance.
We can’t wait to celebrate with everyone!

No Sprouts this Wednesday March 9th due to
9 weeks testing. Study hard kiddos and we will see you after Spring Break!
