Fall 2020 Host Registration - Now Open!
Deadline to Register: Friday, September 25, 2020
More information: go.umd.edu/IFADlite

The University of Maryland University Career Center's popular Intern for a Day program has historically connected UMD students with alumni, parents, and employers for in-person job shadowing experiences to explore potential career fields.

For the fall 2020 semester, we are offering Intern for a Day Lite which will match UMD students with professionals working in a field of interest to conduct virtual informational interviews. "Hosts" can live and work anywhere nationally and internationally.

How it Works:

1. Interested hosts fill out this registration form and provide details about their career field by Friday, September 25, 2020.

2. Students complete a mandatory orientation to prepare them for the informational interview and apply with their top hosts of interest (based on the description you provide!)

3. We match the students with the hosts most of interest to them and make the introduction.

It takes the ā€œcold callingā€ step out of informational interviews and networking for students. Questions? Visit go.umd.edu/IFADlite or email [email protected].
