Natasha defended last week in Bloomington, but came down to College Station to help us with some experiments and celebrate with lunch in her honor.

End of a long month - moving in the pandemic was *a little* more challenging than expected (for everyone) - received a touching gift from my first grad student coworker, Chiao-Chen Chen (now at NCKU). The extended family academia gives is immeasurable in value.

Found in the office of Dennis Peters (1937-2020), a photo from the GRC on Electrochemistry in 1971 (the year I was born). Giants in the field - Bard, Buck, Heller, Feldberg, Evans, Whittingham, Bruckenstein, Winograd, Murray, Kuwana, Adams, Anson, Peters, R. Osteryoung, Wilson...and so many more, but obviously missing diversity.
