She is a Horticulture BA major with an Event Planning minor from the class of 2025🤓👏🏼
Kate will be graduating in the spring and is actually a sixth gen Aggie!!🕺🏻

Kate is originally from Heath, TX which is in the Dallas area😱

The main reason why Kate chose SAIFD is that she LOVES flowers!!!!! Flowers will brighten anyone’s day and make them smile which is why her major is in floral design. She decided to run for president because she wanted to be able to create a safe, calming space for all different kinds of people and majors who just love flowers! Kate loves SAIFD with her whole heart!!💗🫶🏼

Her random fact is that she actually grew up wanting to be a doctor, but in freshman year of high school she passed out in Principle of Health Science class and quickly switched my focus after that!😂😭

The main reason why Alise chose SAIFD is that she loves getting to know a group of like minded people who enjoy the same passion as her! 💐

A random fact about Alise is that she is really into yoga and calisthenics and wants to take contortion classes one day🧘🏻‍♀️

A random fact about Caroline is that she took culinary arts in high school for 3 years (she loves to cook)😱👩🏻‍🍳

She’s a Biomedical Science Major and a Creative Studies Minor from the class of 2027!🕺🏻🪩

Malayna is originally from Decatur, Texas😱

The main reason why she chose SAIFD is for her love of floral design and obviously flowers! Malayna has taken 4 years of floral design in high school, and wanted to continue a creative journey alongside her STEM major!🤓🧪

A random fact about Malayna is that she has dressed up as a different rapper for Halloween for the past 4 years🫣😱

Had such a fun time celebrating those receiving SAIFD competition awards and those being inducted into AIFD!

Last night Blayne Bippert ‘24 and Nadia Abusaid ‘24 won awards for one of their designs in the student AIFD competition. Blayne was awarded third place for her sympathy arrangement and Nadia third place for her interpretive arrangement! Congratulations to these students for representing Texas A&M at an international competition! Gig’em👍🏼💐

We are so excited to be in Orlando for the AIFD Symposium! We started our week with the student competition. Some of our designs are shown above. We can’t wait to expand our floral knowledge💐🌼

We wanted to wish good luck to all those taking finals over the next couple of days!! We hope everyone will BTHO FINALS and that you will have a wonderful winter break spending time with friends and family as well as finally taking a break from school! 😜

Also to those who are graduating this December…CONGRATULATIONS on hitting such a major milestone!! 🎓🥳 We wish you all the best of luck as you take this next step and start your future careers!! 🥹

This Thursday, November 30th, is our LAST meeting of the semester! 🥺

We are helping prep for the Chancellor’s Christmas party so all are welcomed to come and help us make arrangements for this event!! 🎄

But also…. we are NOT having a meeting next week because it is Thanksgiving!!!🦃😌 which is why we want to see your beautiful faces at SAIFD this week before we go eat our weight in turkey and other yummy holiday foods next week 😉
