Join us at our First Nature Session at Kirklin Gardens where Heidi leads us in nature based art. Landscape painting materials will be provided but come with cameras and writing materials this Sunday!

Yesterday we went on our Sustainability Walking tour visiting sustainable areas located on campus and some of our program locations. We learned about sustainable infrastructure at the Missouri Historical Society, how Mizzou’s campus is a botanical garden, the child development garden lab, biking repair stations, the power plant, and ended the walk at Kirkland garden with pizza!
Join us for our fast fashion general meeting, we’ll be discussing sustainability within the fashion industry and have guest speakers from ATAM! Register on engage!

There are a bunch of events this semester, so make sure you are checking Engage and our posts for updates :)
Tiger Tailgate is back collaborating with Mizzou Athletics. Before the game you can teach tailgaters about recycling and pass out bags. By participating you will get a free ticket to the football game. Registration closes this Monday September 2nd and limited to the first 25 so register NOW!!

It’s unbeelievable that our first hive check is Tuesday September 3rd!!! Truth bee told we couldn’t be more excited to listen to our beekeeper George talk all things bee (and of course wear the suits)

We are so thrilled to be honored with three awards last night at the 2024 Student Involvement Awards!
Sustain Mizzou was awarded Large Group of the Year and Most Improved Group. Brad Jones also received Advisor of the Year!
Our staff and leadership team worked so hard year this to successfully plan roughly 100 programming events. From Zero Waste Week, Earth Month, Food Week, and all our regular programs, we could not of done it without student support! Thank you all for your commitment to the environment and making this world a more sustainable place 💚♻️
We had so much fun last night taking a break from all our finals studying to watch Frozen II ❄️

Way to go Campus Clean Up!!! We managed to collect 32 red bag, 4 green bags, and 13 recycling bags!!! We couldn’t do it without you guys and thank you to MSA and Champion!!

We couldn’t do it without all of our student donations and volunteers! We were able to swap 1,000 pieces of clothing on Tuesday and will donate the rest to the City of Refugee in Columbia :)
Come get your hands dirty at the CCUA Veteran’s Garden this Monday from 3:30 to 5:30! Carpooling will be available from the Student Center Parking Lot at 3:15. Make sure to wear closed toed shoes!
