Please mark your calendars for the 2016 Torch Run Golf Tournament at beautiful RTJ at Oxmoor Valley on Thursday, July 28. Lunch provided by Taziki's Mediterranean Cafe and an awards dinner follows the tournament. Presented by Loomis Armored US, Wells Fargo, Enterprise Rent-A-Car, SouthernLINC Wireless, Hoover (AL) Police Department and Covington County Sheriffs Office.

We did it! $10,000! Thank you so much to all our volunteers and athletes. We could not have done it without you. Special thanks to The Purple Onion Deli & Grill, California Pizza Kitchen, and to our wonderful and gracious hosts, Walmart Pelham.

We are in for the night, and over $4500 thanks to a last minute $100 donation!!!! See you in the morning bright and early.

We are a little behind in our donations because of the weather but even so.....we are over $3000!!!! Time to grab some dinner and catch our second wind.

Cops on Top is this Friday and Saturday at Walmart Pelham. Come out to see us dance, hear us sing or get your 2016 Torch Run T-shirt. All proceeds go to Special Olympics Alabama.

Maddie helped Shelby County deputies kick off the Special Olympics County Games yesterday at Calera High School. Mattie later won gold in the wheelchair race. Way to go Maddie!

We're headed to pick up the Flame of Hope as it comes through Birmingham on its way to Los Angeles in the Unified Relay Across America! We'll be running it down 22nd Street North.
