State Department Convention and Chapter 47 had 17 veterans show up. We stood out with the most veterans at any state convention in a very long while. Enjoyed everyone’s support at the banquet Saturday evening.

Humbled by the opportunity to help Nebraska veteran families impacted by the tornados on April 26th regain some sense of normal after loosing their homes or being displaced for days.

Thankfully no one was injured or worse. Heard stories of survival, faith and endurance.

True Nebraska resolve!

From Elkhorn to Blair DAV Nebraska and DAV National Service Officer Mike Webb offered financial assistance to these families. In meeting them and hearing their stories, DAV is grateful to be a small part of the recovery process.

We thank our DAV National Disaster Relief program for their quick response.

If you know of a veteran who was impacted, please send us a message at [email protected]
