Great things happening at our school!

Ms. Dillon’s 2nd grade class put on a lemonade stand for all students last week to raise money for a local homeless shelter. Students did an excellent job and pictures are our 2nd grade student servers along with some 4th graders enjoying their lemonade!

Every year kindergarten does the ABC count down days for the last 26 days of school. Today was toy day to celebrate the letter T and apparently we had a student bring in a new classmate in Ms. Owen’s class. We are here to educate all! 🤣

Over the weekend a number of our students participated in the Girls on the Run 5K. These girls and their coaches have worked very hard this year preparing for this event and we are all so proud of you!

On Friday our school counselor organized a Career Day for Grades 3-5 where students learned about a number of different professions. Here are just some of the photos from Friday's wonderful event!

Golf enthusiasts and amateurs are called to enjoy a day of friendly competition and camaraderie. Support our schools at the Groveport Madison Local Schools Board of Education's Educational Trust Inaugural Golf Fundraiser (June 14).

For Teacher Appreciation Week teachers received an ice cream sundae bar fully loaded with cake and all the toppings! Thank you to Scarrlet (out of Ms. Owen’s class) and her parents for this wonderful donation to our staff!

Asbury Community-

We have a lot going on these next couple of weeks as we finish out the school year. Tomorrow from 5:30-8:30PM we have a skating party at United Skates of America and we have the Stock Up for Summer Bash event on May 14th from 4:30-6:30PM. Hope to see you all there!

Kindergarten students got the opportunity to walk over to Dairy Queen yesterday to enjoy some ice cream. What a fun short trip for an awesome group of students!

As Ohio State Testing continues, remember your testing strategies!

Show up for school on time. Be sure to eat nutritious meals (especially breakfast!) and get a good night of sleep so you aren't tired during testing. Don't rush and remember to breathe if you begin to feel stressed. Use any extra time to re-read and double-check your answers.

Most importantly... believe in yourself! Remain positive and focused. Let's show the state... It's Great to be a Cruiser!

For all the students beginning testing this week, it is time to show off all the things we’ve learned together. You are set up for success! Remember your testing strategies, and show up for yourself by doing your best. You are going to crush it!
