Dairy Jeopardy came to the Ohio State Fair for the first time and was a great hit!! 55 Dairy youth participated for Cash awards donated by Ohio Brown Swiss Association, Ohio Holstein Association and Ohio Jersey Association. Virtual Skillathon is open and can be used as a practice for in-person skillathon that will be held at Ohio State Fair on July 24th from 9-12. Please plan to complete skillathon as part of the Dairy Incentive program! You must complete skillathon, showmanship and dairy judging at the fair to qualify for Dairy incentive!

Dairy Jeopardy is coming to Ohio State Fair!
On Wednesday, July 24 (1:30 - 4:30 p.m.) and Wednesday, July 31 (9a.m.-noon) you can see how your dairy knowledge stacks up to your peers!

The 2025 date for Dairy Palooza will be (drum roll) April 12.

We will be returning to Canfield for the event. We are a bit earlier, but our third Saturday would have conflicted with Easter!

As good as it was in 2024, the committee is certain we CAN and WILL make it better!

There will be meeting to discuss 4-H Dairy Quiz Bowl this Thursday evening, May 2nd, at 7:00 pm. It has been proposed that we have the Quiz Bowl contest during the State fair this year and we would like all that have ideas or interest to join us to come up with the best possible plan to encourage maximum participation. With the state judging contest in the books, it is now approaching the date for Dairy Palooza. It will be held on April 20 at Canfield fairgrounds. We offer QA training PLUS more programming in the afternoon than Spectrum and DirectTV!!!!! And this year, we have separate programming for Dairy Feeders and Goats. Very few counties can and do offer such an opportunity. We have the experts!
