Crossroads Columbus
A place for people who have given up on church but not on God.
đ Service times: Sunday 9:15 & 11am
Often the most obvious thing is the hardest to see. We are either too close to the problem or our minds are consumed with other thoughts. This is why we need each other and the Holy Spirit. They catch our blindspots and keep us from missing whatâs right in front us. He is here to help and guide us (John 14:26).
Crossroads Night at the Clippers was a blast! This incredible community brought the energy, laughter, and fun to make it a wonderful night at the ballpark. Thanks to everyone who came out and rocked their new Clippers x Crossroads hats. This is what great summer nights are made of.
We need an army of people investing in the next generation. If you arenât building them up, you are stifling what God is doing. Letâs choose to encourage and hand off our faith. To do this, consider who you can personally invest in. Whether you are a teacher, parent, or business owner, you can profoundly impact the trajectory of someoneâs life.
Join the guys of Crossroads Columbus for a night at Pins on Thursday, July 18 from 7-9pm. Grab a friend and enjoy a fun night out. Weâre covering two drinks and duckpin bowling! Let us know you are coming by going to https://bit.ly/3VOpFgU
While you are waiting for conditions to be perfect, your skills to measure up, and your past to go away, youâre missing out on opportunities. As we let these unseen weights go and accept that God loves us despite our flaws, we room for what God has for us. Heâs calling you into something deeper if you are willing to take the step.
No one truly has everything figured out. Even the person who meticulously plans their next five steps in life could hit a roadblock at any moment and have to detour. Through it all, God promises to be our Wonderful Counselor (Isaiah 9:6). When you arenât sure to turn left, right, or turn around, ask the one who knows everything thatâs to come before it even happens. He is here to guide us.
Thereâs a vibrant group of young professionals in Columbus. Come have drinks and meet other people, age 21-35, at Jackie Oâs Brewery in Columbus on Thursday, July 11, 7-9pm. At the Young Professionals Brewery Night, you'll find the connections youâve been looking for. Sign up now by going to https://bit.ly/3zlpnqj
Road trips offer a glimpse into the culture and character of each new place. The same is true across all our Crossroads sites. They have their own unique personality and aspects that make it the place we love.
Weâd love to hear what you think makes Crossroads Columbus unique. Let us know why you love your site in the comments below!
There are areas of life that wonât change without infusing them with some spiritual octane. If youâve failed to see a breakthrough, whether itâs a sickness, relationship, or weakness, we might need to lean into prayer and fasting (Mark 9:29). Believe that through your prayers God will bring heaven to earth. Jesus wants you to experience life.
You donât have to stay stuck. The Care ministry exists to help and support with warmth, respect, and empathy as people move through lifeâs most difficult times. We help people take their next step and move forward.
If you are someone interested in offering care to others, we will help equip you along the way. By volunteering with the Care team, you are sharing Godâs love for people in a tangible way.

Itâs road trip season. Pack your bags, load up the car, and get rolling. From hiking trips to glamping, thereâs an adventure waiting for everyone.
All âgo with the flowâ travelers please comment below so we know who to take on our next trip.
People are difficult (including yourself). Over time, conflicts will surface so we canât avoid the fire. This leaves two options: sacrifice yourself to the flame or the relationship. Jesus went before us demonstrating the humility required to lay down your life for others. Every day we are presented with the option to choose the route of sacrifice over the easy way out. This is true love.
We had an incredible day at City Serve Day! By giving up your morning to serve people in your own backyard, it resulted in a life-changing impact on the communities where we work and live. Many of these needs would otherwise go unmet and the work you completed enables our partners to stay focused on their mission. Thank you for joining the call to be the hands and feet in our city.
You got places to go this summer. Take us with you. The thing about Crossroads Anywhere is you can watch itâŠwell, anywhere. So when youâre out there photographing humpback whales, climbing Machu Picchu, or kicking back in the backyard, snap a pic and share with us. Weâll share our favorites and you might just have some sweet swag waiting for you when you get back from the beach (or the backyard).
To send us your pics, upload them to https://bit.ly/4cwXTwu
Happy summer yâall.
It is for freedom that we have been set free (Galatians 5:1). On this day in 1865, news of abolition of slavery reached the last group of people in Texas. We were created for freedom, and to bring it to those who haven't found it yet. Thereâs more work to be done so today we celebrate progress and commit to running after freedom and equality. Happy Juneteenth.

We've all felt these lies spoken over us at different times in our lives. Maybe you've been feeling disconnected lately and alone; the good news God sees you. He goes after the lost, so whether you are broken, afraid, or disconnected know that God can be like a Garmin GPS device always knowing right where you are (we promise we were not sponsored by Garmin).
At Crossroads Columbus, we are so beyond grateful for our community pastor, Vicki Diller. She leads us day in and day out and we know and love Jesus deeper because of her leadership. Please join us in wishing Vicki a very Happy Birthday!
Leave Vicki some love in the comments and let her know why you are thankful for her!
Happy Fatherâs Day to all the dads, step-dads, and father figures. Today we celebrate all youâve done both seen and unseen. Weâre thankful for your unwavering support, love, and of course, the never-ending dad jokes.
Regardless of whether your week was fantastic or had its challenges, our hope and prayer for you is that you would feel restored this weekend.
In the comments, let us know where you saw God this week. Maybe you saw something beautiful or you felt comforted in a difficult situation. As we acknowledge what He has done, it encourages everyone to look for Him more.
Your name matters. Earthly problems might be solved with money, hard work, or the reputation your last name brings, but none of it holds up for our spiritual vulnerabilities. We need a new name. God freely invites us into His family, giving us a new identity that allows access to everything He has. Unlike navigating through the world, this one you donât have to earn. Just receive.

To be used by God doesnât require you to move to a remote country, speak on a stage to thousands, or play the guitar. People in your community are hurting and often are looking for someone to sit with them in their pain.
By volunteering with the Care team, you are sharing Godâs love for people in a tangible way. Whether you are interested in praying with people, leading groups, or visiting those in the hospital, thereâs an opportunity for you to provide care and support for people when they need it most.

Regardless of strength by earthly standards, we all experience spiritual vulnerabilities that we canât muscle our way out of. We need someone to redeem us in order to join Godâs family. Great news, Jesus has already done this for us. Through Him, weâre granted the privilege of being adopted into the Kingdom of God as sons and daughters. Even though we were born spiritual orphans, He made a way for us to find protection and belong.

Over the last decade nearly 100,000 men and women have watched Crossroads services while incarcerated. Godâs love can find you wherever you are, even inside prison walls.
If not for Godâs grace, we would all be defined by our worst day, but thankfully, to him we are not.
In our lives, there are burdens that weigh us down and imprison us. Itâs keeping you in bo***ge and preventing you from experiencing true freedom. While residents at correctional facilities may never experience physical freedom again during their time on earth, spiritual freedom is available to all of us. Even as we face difficulty, He is good to us.
This past weekend we partnered with Bloom to serve 38 families helping them find clothes to fit their children and receive exactly what their family needed. They serve families with children ages 0-3 by providing diapers, wipes, baby clothes, and community.
Bloom exists to aid in the flourishing of families with young children by providing basic needs and connecting them with not only resources but a supportive community.
Volunteering is one of the best ways to get involved and build connections in the Crossroads community. Whether you are new and want to make this big place smaller or youâve been around for a while and want to be part of a team changing the world, thereâs a place for you.
*Not included in this survey was the option âawesome swagâ, but we hope thatâs a given.

We are tired, busy, and run-down. Our culture constantly demands more from us, draining us and doing so quite successfully. We hustle and push to feel fulfilled, but even money canât fix this problem. Itâs a reflection of our spiritual poverty that we are just on the brink of ruin and thereâs no more grace for you to have. Yet, there is hope. Jesus tells us that when we realize we canât do it on our own, God will take care of us. If you are at the end of yourself, He is waiting to care for you.

Whatever your thoughts on church or your beliefs about God, you are welcome. Back in â95, eleven people got together to start a church for their friends who didnât like church. Today, Crossroads is a movement of people meeting all over the countryâand itâs just getting started. No memberships or awkward hand-holding, just unfiltered talk and biblical truth thatâll wake your soul.
